As a 62 year old geyser, I am filled with excitement and tears hearing and seeing my past come alive again. What a fabulous effort. Well done. And for the 7,472nd time, I am awed to appreciate that Ged and the boys did this and almost all their work with just three musicians. Love this. Will revisit it again soon.
This is perhaps one of RUSH's most personal compositions, especially for Geddy. There is an inherent desperation, urgency and fear that seeps out of every note and every lyric. This song was released in 1984. It addresses concerns in its present of 1984, its past of 1944 and now again...it speaks to us during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, the pending Presidential election in the U.S. and my homeland's terrible and embarrassing handling of border relations with our beautiful and kind neighbors in Mexico. We put up walls because we think of the rest of the world as "Red Sector A" and want to keep "them" out, when all we've done is turn the U.S. itself, INSIDE OUR BORDERS...into "Red Sector A".
Aisles, you have all done a fantastic job performing this song! The world must all come together to keep all of this precious and special music alive forever and ever. Viva Aisles! Viva Chile! We see you. We see you and love you. Be well, keep safe and stay strong, brothers!

It's a very good cover..I think rush put so much energy and soul into it because of the personal connection to the events..both geddy's and Alex's parents were in the camps..I broke down when I found out that Neil wrote this song as a tribute to their parents!

Excellent job guys, I have always loved this song and after learning it was inspired by Geddys mom's accounts of the Holocaust made it have so much more meaning and I loved it even more, thanks for bringing this song to a new generation.
