After 6 years of playing this game, How am I discovering that Fighters, Strikes, Naval Fighters and Naval Strikes, ALL HAVE LOW RADAR SIGNATURE WHEN AT MAX LEVEL????? which unit counters this???
What I've noticed a lot is that most people use the air superiority fighter for attacking ground troops which contradicts its purpose. It's almost like most of players don't even know about strike fighters and how useful they really are. They've become the backbone of my strategy and I've won almost every game ever since I started using them.
@Zayviral air superiority fighters are used against enemy air crafts not ground forces, a stack of ASFs and Strike Fighters is a better strategy the strike fighter has great damage for ground troops but poor defense against air crafts, the ASF has a great attack against air crafts but poor attack against ground troops, I don't usually worry about ground attacks unless it's AAs which most players don't research
I used to use them a lot. Like I used to run two stack of planes. 1 stack of air sup and 1 stack of strike fighters but quickly noticed that they were getting demolished by air sup. I swapped em out by heavy fighters and they worked even better
@@TheKendal83 yeah but that’s why I use rocket trucks, armor, and infantry on the ground. The video was on basics. Bombers and gunships can do significant damage to infantry too
Researching rockets takes some time and they also take time to reload, strike fighters still do more damage and you can use them way earlier than rockets
I’m fighting a 1v2 as a new player an did a surprise 3 front attack same time lol I took his production away in the back lines and cut off his units in the front. Now I’m clearing in the ones on the front with gunships while supporting my 5 units behind enemy lines with my few air superiority fighter. I’m new. But I’m a strategy nerd all I plays is rts 😂 hopefully I win because one is lvl 24 and the other lvl 12. While I’m lvl 1 pray for my guys I’m trying to get airfield set up on their side to get my troops flying over there

advanced tips while using strike/naval strike fighters and stealth fighters: Is it worth to use both in your games (strike fighter+naval strike fighter)? Yes, no matter the doctrine, using a wing of 2 NSF + 3 SF will allow you to deal the exact dmg against land targets, but also increasing slightly against surface targets, but why does it matter this type of build? easy, survavility, since you will spread the received dmg of that wing, meaning if you got a max lvl european SF and receive 30 dmg you will loose a fighter, but if they were 3 max SF + 2 max NSF even if they're not european, you won't loose any fighter since: 18 dmg will go to the SF and 12 dmg will go to the naval SF out of 25 HP before loosing any fighter, meaning you got a big gap to withdraw and heal them either with gold or in a hospital this does not work well with their air superiority type, since most of th time, you may face big dmg against enemy fighters as well, so not that worth this works AMAZING with stealth (2 stealth ASF + 3 stealth SF) for amazing survavility of the wing, you sacrify dmg but is still very decent, it has a dmg resistance of +50 dmg since it needs to deal 28 to any of the 2 fighters to loose 1, and if you're skilled enough you could avoid even max lvl SAM anti air attacks if you are able to not come close to it's sight range to reveal the aircraft and trigger the SAM meaning the targets must have +50 aircraft def to be able to kill you a fighter, which most of the times, is not that common the best way to use air force is to accumulate aircraft and saving the most ammount of them all the time, also by going this path remember to have a good team, if some of you focus early on SAM, air superiority and you this high survavility strike aircraft, you will domain the skies no matter what the enemy got (unless they got huge ammounts of SAM that could be countered easy with AH or artillery) thx for reading
keep in mind if you got the chance to run for a fighter type on it's max lvl do it asap, that low radar signature helps a lot mainly on offensives, also if you're going with stealth aircraft, I recommend to combine them with lvl 5 AWACS to detect both fix and rotatory wing targets, since stealth aircraft due to game balance, doesn't have their own radar

How do i balance getting many different units researched (eg, armour, inf, aa, ships, missiles, helo, AND fighters) with maxing out a unit, such as strike fighters, to achieve stealth and cruise missile launchijg? Im at day 20 in a game and havent researched anything beyond lvl 1... is this bad?
You have to prioritize. Either you will have a weak, but diverse army, or a strong, but uniform one. Normally you should go with a game plan and research units accordingly, and ignore those you won't use.
Basically what the guy above me said and also focus on building arms industries and recruitment offices, it could be that you don't have enough resources to research arms help a lot with that then quick mobilization so that you can conquer more lands quicker
Naval strikers are superior to normal strikers. Not only can they land on carriers as mentioned in the video, but they do awesome damage against naval and the same as a reg striker to land units. 50 more components. Worth it for naval dominance.
Yes they are superior, but you have to research the SF tree to unlock the NSF tree. I believe the main use of NSF is to mix it with SF to increase the stacks' survivability. It's comparable to NPA in terms of utility against ships, but like NPA it can easily be countered with frigates, so I wouldn't rely on it for naval dominance
if my western doctrine fighter jet is patrolling my headquarters city, and the enemies single western doctrine fighter jet moves into my patrol space, why have I lost more health??????

Hey Nick, your videos are super helpful. I have a little question though: When engaging enemy fighters, is it better to have mine patrolling or send them to the offensive? Note I have a stack of 5 max level AirSup.Fighters while enemy only has a stack of 3 lvl5. I am asking because both units were patrolling but my airwing got 2 planes shot down. Do you think there was AA unit present maybe in the fog of war?
So in this case damage can be pretty weird. If you had a log that said you engaged a ground target, it most likely had anti aircraft in it. Sometimes they fail to show up in the logs. On the other hand, I’ve found patrolling or attacking to not be so different when it comes to an outcome. When two patrolling aircraft engage each other, 4 damage exchanges are carried out… an attack from your aircraft, the defense from his aircraft, then the attack of his and the defense of yours. That is why the damage was probably so high if AA wasn’t present.

Whatever AA they had is destroyed and their airforce is history. Thank you so much for the tutorials because they are literally the guidelines Im following for this match. Plus, I can confirm cruise Missiles are very fragging useful.
Radar or AWACS are good ways to spot enemy radar signatures from afar and to give you an idea of where the enemy is and how many units they might have.

Lower damage compared to the base unit you research it from, no specialty aside from the carrier capability, which is downplayed in this game, so it literally has no use, maybe you can use it for mixed stacks with regular ASF for health preservasion. But even during a naval attack enemy ASFs can be dealt with with frigates and even Naval SFs are useful against NPAs and choppers. Naval SF on the other hand is very useful, damage increase compared to the base unit and added significant naval damage, plus the mixed stack health advantage. Also it makes more sense to use a carrier, they can turn the tide on an open-water ship-to-ship combat as well. Stealth units are too expensive to use most of the time, and especially them not having a radar is just very dumb.

I don’t even really use strike fighter anymore, I use 5 stacks of air superiority fighters and use cruise missiles as they hit harder on armor
Yeah, but that won't do anything to a stack of soft targets. And that's what I find most people use the most.

They are for air to air id say if you use those just patrol the area with them as their attacks don’t work well for soft ground units
