I love the special forces. I’m in a game right now and my coalition is about to face off with a solo golder for the game. I’m playing as Belarus and followed almost exactly the eastern doctrine just to try it out textbook style sorta, but facing Brazil in South America and South Africa both terrains have a lot of jungle and mountains with some forest and a little open areas. This is a problem because I have MBT and lvl 6 infantry all of which are debuffed in these areas. So now I’m working to make special forces as a strategic tip of the spear on the ground alongside some amphibious armor to really pack a punch with the sole purpose of neutralizing the enemy and use my MBT in open and forest areas with my gunships and missile equipped fighters. If Brazil lasts long enough then I will also get the elite bomber that has 2 ballistic missile slots and 3 cruise slots for attacking strategic points like ports(sea and air), capital, and high level army bases.
make officers they give you boost so the debuff would be null at that point if not you having more attavk as well maybe 😉 I always make the officers they are cheap af
@@starfighter1043 I use naval and pilot officers a lot. Sometimes infantry and armor but admittedly not a lot. Should more often but they are expensive. Resource wise they are similar to annexing a city
A great combination late game for national guard is two national guard, One SF, one AA Tank, One Scout recon and three towed artillery. This allows it to be combat effective provide a solid point defense and retain capture ability with a good buff to cities and open terrain and provide dedicated recon support and good damage disbursement so if you need a support column behind an advance these units can make it to the front and provide immediate and effective combat and support functionality. I’ve seen guys take europe with three national guard a tank destroyer and AA tank each as well. They’re a bit expensive given the resource displacement for production but over all are wildly effective with minimal upgrading for taking on a variety of units and adding a basic health pool to softer units
you are right in the early game national guard is very useful it gave me a head start in the game i was playing it with i tried in different games and it seems the msot effective in north african region atleast for me it seems like that they are cheap and helpful because of them i got a good start in africa overall

If you don't research mechanized infantry then according to me an unbeatable stack is like one main battle tank one or two tank destroyers and two motorized infantry
Is there something specific about landing marines that I am missing? I seem to have a transport of 2 marines in coastal waters, i issue a move command and the game calculates a route into port city 2 provinces north … i want to storm the beach not the city.
Have question sir, I'm a new player and now using Indonesia, is it good to spam basic infantry? I'm really overthinking against external attacks It's day 2 btw and I'm nervous
If you upgrade Special forces then use the amphibious assault unit to capture a province then you can build a port and send normal units there to assist or build and airport
So I’ve decided to go with regular motorized infantry and air superiority fighters. And if I survive long enough I’ll upgrade to mechanized infantry and some multiple rocket launchers. For meow I move my army to the capital and pump out infantry. Once mech troops are ready to be made I should have a decent chunk of resources to make another army while I recapture any lost territory. Anti infantry and armor should be enough for the first few days. And the air superiority fighters are my recon and anti air.
Why do people say that infrantry is actually pretty useless By pros. Also naval infrantry seems pretty darn useless unlike airborne, like they are just not that good, only get them if I'm playing as US doctrine
Quick question. After upgrading a unit in research does all the unit that were already made get the upgrade or dies only the new units made after upgrade get them?
Same way as on PC. Make sure they are in range of the target and give them the command to attack. They will also automatically engage hostile targets at range if they are stationary.
Troops will automatically board planes at airports if that is the fastest way to get somewhere. They will automatically disembark when they reach a destination airport.
I am level 28 and also snapped up one or two points. What you didn't mention though was their cost, for example airmobile infantry is quite expensive etc. which is a very important part of the game - resource management. Otherwise great vid, looking forward to watching the rest

If you build military hospitals in cities where you have the national guards, will they heal up to full health?
Sad that they nerfed Special forces. Now they have low signature and do less damage on some doctrines
