DIY: Easy to Make Rosemary Smudge Sticks

- Hey there,
today I'm going to show you how to easily make herbal smudge sticks yourself. I made mine today with rosemary, but you can also use these herbs: lavender, sage, thyme, bay leaves, mint, mugwort, angelica root, elecampane root, St. John's wort, valerian, lemon balm, and hops. Have fun recreating it! :)
Instructions for smudging with a herb bundle:
1. Preparation: Have a shell or tray ready to catch ash and residues. Wear non-flammable clothing.
2. Ignition: Light the smudge stick. Let the herbs burn briefly.
3. Extinguish flame: Swing the burning smudge stick to extinguish the flame and keep the embers glowing. Fan the embers to create smoke.
4. Smudging: Hold the shell or tray under the glowing smudge stick. Gently swing the smudge stick to distribute the smoke. Move through the space and distribute the smoke in all corners.
5. Ventilation: Ventilate the rooms by opening all windows and doors. Wait until the smoke has completely dissipated, then close the windows and doors.

As a pick-me-up, rosemary should not be used in the evening.

Hallo, da habe ich heute etwas Neues gesehen,Ich kenne solche Räucherstäbchen nicht,stinkt das nicht unangenehm wenn man sie auf der Terrasse brennen lässt? Soll das Mücken abhalten oder ist das nur für einen angenehmen Geruch.Ich kann es mir überhaupt nicht vorstellen 🙈
Aber ich meine zu wissen das man nicht Blätter sagt ,sondern Nadeln 😉
