The way you wrap up the lesson by concluding with a few sentences containing all the idioms is just brilliant, and it is your signature conclusion. Love it because it is both creative and original, and useful at the same time.
I won’t think twice to hit the button of like because your style of teaching, your material of learning, your very comprehensible speaking ability are the factors of attraction towards learning. I enjoyed your method of teaching.
I have tried many materials and lectures for learning English, but it seems that none of them have been very effective. However, I recently discovered your channel and have learned a lot from it. I especially appreciate how you summarize and list everything in the description. Thank you very much!

teacher in Spanish we also use : (not) think twice //no pensarselo dos veces// wait and see //espera y veras // and (to be in the public eye) // estar en el ojo publico // so now you also know three advanced idioms in Spanish, I know this is your tarjet language, a lot of people from Spain and latinoamerica would love learning with you.
@@InteractiveEng You’re so welcome! Your lessons have helped me understand grammar. I’m a native English speaker and grammar and language arts is very difficult for me. Infinitives ,participles etc. I’m more of a math guy. I love algebra, calculus, trigonometry, I love all things mathematical. And as a way to show my appreciation, I’ll shall subscribe to Interactive English. Did you ever enjoy math as a kid? 👦
Thank you Wes for bringing me up to speed after being away from learning for some months. I wanted to make an example using some of the idioms you taught. I didn't think twice about writing a comment, because to set the record straight, it helps practice what I learned. So I decided to write comments on short notice. Some people usually don't take things at face value and get a grip on themselves before accepting something. I believe that we should strike a balance between our emotions and our logic.
I like that you also teach pronunciation tips! I read books in English, watch movies, but speaking is my weak point. I dont have much practice. By the way, I teach Russian at my channel in case somebody's interested. I'm from Donbass. We, Russian speaking people from the East Ukraine, Russia, and Belorussia have the same vocabulary and slang. But you Americans, Britains, and Australians have different vocabulary and accents and it's difficult for English learners!
It was an especially great lesson with many idioms I have just barely heard of. And get a grip! One of my favorite rock and roll band is Aerosmith and I just love their album: Get a grip! Have a nice week!
Nail punctures can be addressed by removing the object and proceeding with care. It's about finding the right balance, the best of both worlds, from the perspective of "T".

Sir, frankly, I used to incorporate a bit of those idioms into creative writing or any other real life circumstances. Also even in academic and other professional writing tasks during my secondary level school career in saudi arabia. But later on, I realized that putting them into use is a fruitless sin, particularly in academic situations. Still nowadays , I see many students using a bunch of them in formal writing assignments at universities all over our country. This sounds pretty ambiguous to me and the reason for these students ending up getting unsatisfactory grades in exams is, of course, evident. Whatever it appears to be, I'm profoundly obliged with your enthralling lesson and I bet it'll be much beneficial for me in enriching my spoken English skills and helping me in my journey to get into grips with higher level English, such as ielts and tofels.

May i ask you a vocabulary question regarding evolution of definitions? I've tried searching it online, but can't quite seem to phrase the question correctly. It's in regards to how a definition is added to a word's original definition. Is there a term for that? More specifically: im looking for examples of those added definitions that were based on misunderstanding the context of original use. ...if that makes sense.

On the little advertising pic, it is written "strike a BLANCE" (what do we call that pic)?

I noticed that you omitted the sound 't' in the world 'often'. But Britains in movies pronounce the 't' in the 'often'.
Yes, that's a difference between the two. It's the same if I say the word 'soften.' 👍
