I'm a court stenographer, and I have to say you have a whole new view of the justice system when you realize how much of it is just the ultrarich - or their companies - suing and being sued. And yes, generally these things settle and spare the court resources, but still it's paperwork and filing that someone in some courthouse somewhere has to spend time on instead of doing something that actually matters - not to mention the amount of MY time personally that gets wasted listening to bollocks like this. Most of the world has a shortage of court reporters, and too often our time is wasted on these kinds of work instead of jury trials or places where our record of proceedings actually matters.

Actually I think the conclusion of this video is quite the opposite. The difference isn't in their own behavior but rather in the constant grifting that occurs around them. They figured out the quotas for everything but couldn't overcome the limitations of the people carrying out those quotas. Though they should be remembered as fools since they had the bright idea to make quotas for arrests which just resulted in all the ciminals following the law in the days and weeks before the quota's time would be up. Lots of innocent people got arrested on false charges because of that.

You should definately search about Elon's recent interactions with Minister of the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil Alexandre de Moraes. It is hilarious. I can't recomend it enough, knowing your content.
Easy comparison, think of an average everyday scam. Say, a construction company that tells you they can fix your floor for x amount of dollars. You higher them, 6 months later you have a destroyed floor, there is no replacement, and they are yet again asking for even more money to do it. Now just expand that 50 fold but make it about everything. You wanna buy a work truck, well the business you are buying from figures out who you are and overcharges you by alot. Wanna by some sod? 4xs as expensive. Going to rent some kayaks? well they're going to charge you twice as much. But it doesn't extend to just buying shit. There is a ton of freeloaders. "I'll be your friend if you taking me to fancy places.". In short the super wealthy have no guarantee that any individual that they are interacting with or trying to be friends with are genuine. It's a lonely life. It's a life of mistrust. Now the average person, like myself, that struggles to make ends meet just goes boo hoo. But we can have genuine friendships, and that's not something I would trade for all the money in the world.
