    These look fantastic. You can also make raspberry jam sandwiches with two of the cookies, then partly dip them in melted chocolate & sprinkles. A local bakery makes them & they are delicious.

    Love these - I've made them several times now and they are always great. Not sure if it is stated but I use a salted butter as I think it brings out the flavour better. 👌

    I live in the us, and had to weigh and convert, measurements. For those in the us.. 100grams of sugar is “Half a cup” 200grams of butter is 14tbsps……

    Fantastic recipe! So easy to make but they taste just as good if not better than any I've ever bought. I've even tried to modify this recipe but, in my opinion, it is best just like it is.
    I'm an older guy who has recently found an interest in cooking and baking and people ask me where I bought these. So if I can do it, literally anyone can.

    P.S. using the bottom of the glass is next level, never would have thought of that

      @@arohisaha6867 I user normal sugar, I couldn't figure it out with powdered sugar. So normal sugar it is. They are eaten quickly, so I guess they are good. 😊

      ⁠@@barbararuthschatzmann8078 Hello, Castor sugar is a fine suger, you could fine it in most supermarket, or you can take normal sugar and put in a food process for a few mins, then you have castor sugar, I use it when I make cream brûlée. Have a wonderful day! 😊

    I can’t wait to try these for Christmas next month,2022. Nice to see the measurements in grams instead of cups which can vary tremendously. Great baking results require precise measurements. I’ve switched to using my kitchen scale for things now and things turn out much better! Thanks for that.❤ And seeing this recipe is in ratio of 1-2-3 will make it easy to remember!

      French wine (half bottle) has a lovely rose on bottom of bottle// French Pink called Rose/ look out for the rose shaped cookies 👏🏻

    This recipe is similar to Scottish Shortbread which has a pinch of salt .
    Walmart sells Walkers pure butter shortbread from Scotland $ 4.52 the box with 8 pieces , 19 grams each ❤
    Some take the rule 1,2,3 : one part of sugar, two parts of butter and three parts of flour ; while some others take the 2 3,4 rule : 2 ounces of sugar, 3 ounces of butter and 4 ounces of flour plus a pinch of salt as flavor enhancer .

    I liked that this video didn’t have music in the background throughout the demonstration. More often than not, I find the music in these videos are too loud and distracting.
    Very nice recipe and I love the designs using drinking glasses.

      you made them? do they need salt? do they fall apart? inhad to add more butter as the dough was too dry. I hope they come out
