Sounds like a "show" problem...nothing I've seen makes me wish to watch more, and it is ineffective as a teaching tool (according to you), so...maybe a different, less snarky approach? If people aren't getting what the show is, that is the production's responsibility. As a viewer, I am not obliged to give shows "a chance". If you watch the show there are moments where they do highlight the ridiculousness of that exact perception. The show realises the hypocrisy regarding the white versus black dichotomy and addresses it quite well. Perhaps you didn't watch it in enough detail.

The whole beef with the title comes down to a "well how would you like it if..." argument, where the part that follows the word "if" are usually things black Americans are already dealing with on a regular basis.
