Seiko SNXS79 bracelet MOD. Costs 0$

Seiko snxs79, snxs73, snxs75, snxs77 and snxs80 are great watches. But the bracelet was cheap looking and not good looking. I modded the bracelet to at least make it look nicer. Here is how i made it.

I replaced the bracelet on my SNXS79 with an oyster-style bracelet from Ali Express shortly after I bought the watch, because I wasn't happy with the Seiko bracelet at all. I may get the original bracelet back out and give this a try. Thank you!

What was the size of the bracelet sir ?

The bracelet I used was from Ali Express, just search for "Rolamy 19mm oyster for dayjust" and it's the first result. I used the original Seiko endlinks and clasp. If you search for SNXS-specific bracelets, you can find a few, but I've only ever tried this specific one, and it works great.

I did my own polishing. I used Mothers mag and aluminum polish.

I bought an aftermarket 20mm bracelet with hollow end link, and swap the bracelet while keeping the original SNXS79 19mm hollow endlink and its 19mm spring bar.

Yeqh it was always possible but the seiko end links are all brushed and i don't feel they suit well on the fully polished case. You may at least consider polishing the center of the endlinks

Definitely cheaper than buying new bracelets. The bracelet still feels cheap and looks way better in my opinion.
