Also citizens need to stand up help each other - even voluntary. Govt created laws to help you allnot make it out in action. Stop following ur unjust laws if you value ur pathetic lives; before its too late.
If I was him, I would highly encourage all my elderly neighbors to leave and go to the nearest shelter. Assist them with coordinating transportation and ensure they have medications and important documents. You should not risk your life, but I commend you, sir!! I'm praying for all of Florida. ❤

Help them how? Emergency vehicles stop dispatching at 55mph winds. You can’t drive in these storms. If you’re close enough to the eye, you can’t even walk in these storms.
If he wants to help his neighbors, he should be doing it by getting them out of Cedar Key.
Moron status. He won’t be able to do anything once the storm hits. If he were a hero, he’d be getting them out.

I grew up in Sarasota. I'm 60 and can remember a lot of them. Hurricanes change directions. Prayers to all those who couldn't make it out.❤

That is not an excuse to stay!! If these elderly neighbors can't get out because of mobility issues, then get them help to get out & leave yourself. This isn't heroism...this is just plain foolish!! I cannot remember a time in history, where someone in authority said, "either get out or die"...just know you are completely on your own, if you make such a stupid decision to stay!!

Why hasn’t a department come a picked up those seniors and forced them out of the danger zones by some law. They are old and not thinking clearly. He is just at risk how does his family deal with his death too? 😢sad.
