Voting for Trump is 1000x more "right" than Harris. The only reason why we get garbage candidates is because nobody votes for the "better" candidates. Like you, clearly trump is the better option but instead of voting for him you'll vote nothing which evens the playing field for someone like biden or harris.. so that's why we are where we are right now as a country. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time; but there is the broad feeling in our country that the people should rule, continuously rule, and that public opinion, expressed by all constitutional means, should shape, guide, and control the actions of Ministers who are their servants and not their masters."_

Wise and pithy. Churchill-worthy, though not actually by him.
I think a lot of disillusionment with "democracy" is caused because people misunderstand its purpose. Democracy is not and cannot be a guarantee for the best policies, only for policies that do not pizz off so many people that a peaceful transfer of power would become impossible.
That is the purpose of having elections; to make sure the people in power have so much support from the population at large that a revolt would be silly, and making these elections a regular thing ensures that any majority of dissenters would only have to bide their time for a handful of years.

It's not like our elections are like North Korea's "elections." (spoiler, those can hardly be called elections).
If anything, I think the people who don't/won't vote shouldn't have credibility when criticizing the country when they themselves won't make the decision to affect it.

Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." That means what Daniel 2:21 says about God is still true: "It is He who changes the times and the periods; He removes kings and appoints kings; He gives wisdom to wise men, and knowledge to people of understanding." God does it, not we the people!!! God is not up there nervously watching, hoping that we make the right decision, and, if we don't, He's going to be like, "I wanted the other person! But, I need to submit to the will of the people." Get over ourselves!!!! Remember what God tells us in Romans 13:1-2, "Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves."

Your little often ill informed vote means absolutely nothing other than to give the person a false sense of contributing. Sorry.🤷😏

Everyone is evil. The goal in voting is not to "choose the lesser of two evils", but to understand the realities of the world and vote for the person who is best for the task. Only God is good. If you live your life thinking you can choose things in this world that are good, you will never choose anything. You could never get married, never hire an employee, never have children, never have friends.
Also, voting for this or that person is not choosing who is going to be your god. People need to keep things in perspective. You are electing someone to do a job. All you need to know is what the job's requirements are, what the current challenges are, and pick as best you can. Because guess what? You're evil, too.

We are being changed and renewed and perfected bit by bit, but we will not be finished until the resurrection. If you read Romans 8, as I suggested, you would see Paul saying this very thing. Our spirits are cleansed, but our sinful nature (flesh) remains.
