Rufus Woods Bank Fishing

Dave Graybill and friends visit Rufus Woods Reservoir to fish from shore. They fished at the RV Park and Campground on the Colville Indian Reservation located just below the middle net pens.
An annual Colville Tribal Access Pass is required for each vehicle to enter the site. The cost of the pass is $80.00 per year and is good for 12 months from the date of purchase. Anglers can fish from the shore here with either a Washington State fishing license or a tribal license.
There’s an excellent boat launch here and a launch permit ($10.00 per day) is required. All licenses and permits are available on-line through the Colville Tribe’s Fish and Wildlife website.
There’s a two fish limit for trout on Rufus Woods. It is not unusual for two or three anglers to limit in two or three hours. Fish typically range in size from 3 to 5 pounds with fish weighing double digits possible.
