It’s funny how many times Joe says “another brutal loss” and within 5 seconds of him describing the game I remember it and go oh yeah that was another brutal loss. Joe is a legend and tells it like it is.
I wish I could find some of his rants in the 1990s and early 2000s (mainly the Kotite years).
I had some of those rants on tape cassette-wish to God I kept them! Those late 90s rants were gold!
I remember those well when I would drive back to school after work on Sunday nights. Legendary! “Not one more decision, not one more game, not one more anything. Kotite must go now!”

The rant after Parcells refused to change qb from odonnel to lucas in the lion game in 97 would be the holy grail to find. The entire overnight show was one long rant. It was incredible. Joe claimed parcells left odonell in just to prove how inept the qb was. Imus called Joe a lunatic the next day and also had Francesca in to debate Joe about Parcells. It was gold. Pure gold. Joe is still mad about it till this day saying that Imus ambushed him with Francesca making Joe look like a raving maniac.
As much as I’m a giants fan. This is what being a fan is all about. When they are horrible you don’t pay them on the back. That doesn’t mean you don’t love them. But at the end of the day if they need to be criticized then they need to be. I love you joe

I live in Philly and the sports radio is ok here, more or less act like cheerleaders for the "Iggles". I don't remember when i first heard Benigno, but i thought he was great. Can't believe WFAN let him go. There were days when i'd come home from work and just relax and see if i could find his show from that afternoon here on YT. Whether it was the Mets or Jets he was ranting about, it was entertaining and you knew it was coming from the heart, it wasn't some performance.
He should start a podcast, i would listen everyday

Pennington was a great Jet. People forget how good he was for us. I started watching in Kenny O'Brien era and Chad is my favorite jet qb from then until now.
Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.That championship game was a tough one to win, on the road against Elway; his last game. All the mistakes we hadn't made all season long we made in that second half. oh well......

I agree. And I was never a big fan of Joe, but the Craig-y show is starting to get reeeeeal repetitive. Craig just doesn't want to talk sports on any level of detail, his schtick is better suited to a morning show.
It's subtle, but I think you can hear Evan's frustration building with Craig's dictating the agenda for every show. This pairing may not last into the Spring.

Kenny O'Brien was a product of a terrible offensive line. That wasn't Ken O'Brien's fault. Marino would have lasted as long as Ken O'Brien in that jet system
Your statement is not accurate. O'brien never learned to just throw away the ball when his receivers were not open. If his receivers were covered, he would just stand in the pocket, waiting to get sacked. O'brien didn't have the legs to run and had no mobility. He should have learned to throw the ball away. O'brien had no situational awareness when in the pocket. The Jets offensive line was solid during most of O'brien's time with the Jets. Maybe if he had better coaching, he would have had a better career.
