I must ask you, do you make the silkscreen by adding white below the blue soldermask, and the remove the blue where the text is, so the white becomes visible?
Merci d'avance. --- Hello and thank you for this presentation. I have long desired to be able to engrave my PCBs directly with a laser, as you have shown here. What power is necessary? Do you think I can do the engraving and drilling with a 30W laser, or is a 60W laser required? Thank you in advance.
What that thing is missing is a nozzle of cooling air, much like how the +3kW diode fiber optics sheet metal cutting machine have. Something to keep the metal cool, so it won't deform so much to push the vapors away from the laser beam.
Nice engraver. I have been watching how the advancements are allowing a de focused laser can solder components. The professional models are too expensive, cannot wait for DIY versions to become available.
You're very good, Kabir! It's a definitely your new desision of your life! Please accept my sincere congratulations! And when you make next 4'999'999 first comments, you will be enscribed to The Guiness Book of World Records for eternity! P.S.: I think each of your first comments must be notarized for Guiness. The rules will need to be clarified with them.
I was super excited to see how you did this, but its just a "buy your way out" "solution". I'll just tack on the stencil to my PCB order. I dont have Fibre laser budgets 😂.
@C3DPropShop I understand a fiber laser machine is expensive but luckily prices are getting lower. Just 2 years back the cheapest one was like 10k. So who knows, maybe next year we have even lower prices....
@ELECTRONOOBS agreed. Printers had a race to the bottom and we have affordable decent CNC mills now, so hopefully fiber lasers and Injection molding is next! 🤞
Now you can etch your own tattoos or make your own lithographic print plates. If you put powdered glass on the stainless steel plate, could you fuse the glass to the plate? Printer toner inks could be fused onto the steel plate, too. Could you etch a message on a diamond? If you could etch glass in a grid pattern, you could polarize the light to refract different colors. If you could do a fine enough etch, you could make a 3d hologram. Look at scratch holograms for an example. ruclips.net/video/XUy8lELWhJg/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Pretty unbased. I love this video even though I probably won’t buy it myself. This looks so much nicer than actually chemically etching PCBs at home, along with the insane amount of other capabilities a machine like this has. Really cool.
i came here just to see id you made new coilgun video... 🥲 ... 9 months. plenty of new breakthrough in many of the components and diy coil gun makers. make a new super coilgun 😃😆
😂sponser is pcb way ,but u planing to make your own pcb
What about soldering components directly with laser without reflow method , just solder paste and components on pcb?

You said it comes with 30 or 60 watt cutter. Which one were you using?
Why don't more people use copper for solder masks?
Or plastic film...
@@CBWP I use normal thick, colored paper. Works fine with a simple diode laser. Toss it after 5-10 uses.
I hope you get a fan for that thing to extract the fumes. Awesome tool! Meaning to get one of these as well.
@@youtubasoarus i have a fume extractor in the back
@@ELECTRONOOBS Awesome! Just didn't see it in the video hiding.
Awesome and very impressive!
Definately need one of these. Couldn't find it online, though, just the old one. Still too expensive; $3k, wow!

I am the first commenter for the first time in my life🤣🤣🤣

Amazing achievement wow
the one you are using, is it the 30W or 60W?
@@menotu2920 is the 30w one
@@ELECTRONOOBS they are still not available til nov..

Can we make pcb using this ?
Great machine! I will be here for more.
love your channel brother ❤ keep going
prototyping does not require a stainless steel stencil, mass production does. why not just use a plastic sheet for your stencil?
That's an interesting tool

Nice useful machine but very expensive
☹️☹️
Good job
no blower? just 60W? It is expencive piece of sheet
at ~$5000 USD !!!??? I can't afford it 😞
There a cheaper brands, so you can effectively get one for 50% less depending on specs.
starts at 1800

If you can afford that laser you won't be making your own pcbs
Too expensive for hobby market. Get back to basics and affordable gadgets. Otherwise not worth watching.
