Hi Cameron and Aladin. Appreciate your advise on property investment in Turkey. What are your thoughts on a small 2 bedroom house in Fethiye, Alanye etc. basically southern Turkey? Does the value of the property depreciate when the Lira tumbles? We prefer buying a small vacation house rather than an apartment, and have it mostly Airbnb and stay there while vacationing there. Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you kindly from Canada.
Excellent video, thanks a lot for this informative discussion, I have a question which is actually off topic with this video, I am planning to invest very soon, for which me and my family will get 2 year residency and which will again be renewed after 2 years, my question is my son is 16 years old now, so after 2 years whether his residency will renewed or he will be not eligible
Cameron this episode was quite informative and especially with your valuable advices. As mentioned by you guaranteed return properties are generally having inflated value which creates loss for investor. Please advise how an investor can find right and fair value for any property? Are there websites to know right and fair value of properties? Do Turkish government has any mechanism to provide right/fair value of properties? Thanks, waiting to hear from you soon.
Just look at Dubai, learn from their mistakes, overpriced units now selling for 20 cents to a dollar since the peak in 2016, plus they never even offered a citizenship program for the mostly Indian, Irani, or Pakistani investors. I worked for one n of the largest real estate agency in Dubai, and was GM of Abu Dhabi. Agency owners don't care, they want sales, no matter what, glad to see you putting them on notice in Turkey with this vdo . God bless u
The areas or projects you have mention in your viedo definitely I will not invest there. But please can you tell there is a distinct in istanbul name is kuchuchemac Halkali Atakent 4 Avrupa project is good for investors? I hope Mr . Aladdin will Answer me.
Very Informative video thank you for that my question is if you buy a property in turkey and sell it within 5 years the government is going to cut 20%or more then that is it correct?can you give me please a specific answer?
Hi . I would like to know if i want to live in turkey and would like to buy a property for around 80K , how much more do i need to live in turkey for about 15 years if i don't work Or how much do i need to spend on another business to be safe .
Honestly I'm not a good listener but when it comes to you two i love every word and sentence of yours, very informative, clear and exactly to the point and above all your accent is awesome 👍 without a doubt I'm gonna get your help and services, burying property and gain citizenship in near future...
It is true Shahid, given that you are a non-resident in Turkey at the time of the purchase and you do not sell the said property for a year, following your purchase. For more information kindly refer to this article on our website: www.propertyturkey.com/buyer-guide/vat-exemption-when-buying-turkish-real-estate .
In Guelph Ontario, 1 hour outside of Toronto I paid $477,000 CAD for a 3 bedroom townhouse in 2019. Today its now worth $800,000CAD (Nov 2021) So in 3 years its almost doubled. Canadian real estate is going bananas! Not enough supply and there's so many people moving here.
If you don t do your due diligence you only have yourself to blame. I had an excellent Agent but I still verified everything he was advising me through my own research. I had a good Lawyer who protected my rights and especially now during uncertain times. It was worth every penny and most importantly gave me peace of mind.
It's reallyyy impossible to miss any of the video uploaded by my dear brother Aladdin bec all the videooosss are full of great great information In shaa ALLAH See you personally soon there brother Till then keep uploading useful and informative videos for us
This is very resourceful conversation that I wish I knew few years ago, it would be really appreciated if you guys talk about how feasible investment are areas like Bagcilar (recently developed area in gunesli), Bakirkoy and Kuçukçekmece.
Great videos guys... but please this is a question I asked Cameron to answer... what are the laws governing protecting your rental income from tenants living in your investment property? Eg... in Italy if you have a rental property and your tenants get divorced with have kids etc, if the woman can prove she has problems paying because the man has left or they lose their jobs etc and can’t pay the rent, it is almost impossible to remove them from your property because they have no where else to go... so in the mean time they will live for free and even destroy your property as has happened to my family members and nothing can be done about it. I hope I’ve made it understood what I’ve asked. As Cameron knows I’m from Sydney, Australia, and we have rules which are enforced so you can have tenants who aren’t paying or too noisy etc removed and have rental guarantee through insurance etc. So that’s my query, because I understand everything else as it’s all been well spoken about by you gentlemen, but this subject hasn’t been touched on yet. Many thanks guys :)
What's wrong with Esenyurt? Asking because I am looking into affordable areas and that one comes up a alot? Any downside of that part of Istanbul? Looking for a family apartment, not an investment
There's nothing wrong with esenyurt, what they're saying is that try to stay away from suburbs because the value of your place may not profit as it will in the city center. However if you will buy your property just to live and not looking to make a profit from your place than suburbs would be fine.
@@adnansabanovic2735 bro I wouldn't know. Highly recommend you to visit and see places and make sure the area you will move will have relatives and friends. Get information from them.
this whole convo makes a lot of sence and gives a lot of good infos. Istanbul is a huge city, there are literally thousends of properties for sale, and you may never find out on your own exactly which areas worth it. So this whole knowledge of Mr. Cameron can save someone many sleepless nights tryin to find out where to invest their money. the conclusion here would be quality > quantity
excellent video ! thanks for bringing up the important points about safety in real estate investments in Turkey ! very wise said do not loose pounds for the pennies !
Agree. I have many friends who have fallen for such gimmicks and there are many more in my circle in London who want to invest in turkey but very sceptical about their assets safety.
@@user-ov2tm2un1r I don't think it's possible, but is it possible for someone to check if my home is earthquake safe? I have a dublex apartment in Akçay, Balıkesir but I'm worried whether it's earthquake safe or not.
Gain the property in Turkish property is not true, the property dealer cheat foreigner in case of property sale. It is my personal experience I got the same price which iI paid 7 years ago in Antalya.
I HAVE WATCHED SO MANY OF YOUR VIDEOS AND YOU HAVE BEEN STED FAST IN SAYING THAT URBAN CENTERS ARE WERE YOU SHOULD INVEST AND IT SEAMS THE FARTHER WEST/EAST YOU GO AWAY FROM THE STRAIGHT THERE ARE LESS AND LESS SOUNDER INVESTMENTS UNTIL THERE AREN"T ANY AT ALL IF YOU WANT TO MAKE REAL GOOD MONEY!!! BUT WITH THE BUILDING OF THE ISTANBUL CANAL IN WHAT IS WEST OF THE CITY (but will become the city) BEING ADVERTISED AS REAL ESTATE THAT WILL GENERATE $10 BILLION A YEAR - HOW DO YOU THINK THAT WILL CHANGE REALISTATE IN THE MORE WESTERN AND NOW LESS LUCRATIVE DISTRICTS OF THE CITY WHEN THE CANAL IS COMPLETE!!!
Kanal Istanbul is being marketed for a long time now and till this day there’s nothing. It’s not completely approved, we don’t even know if the project is feasible with it’s current master plan. Plus there’s a big opposition against it. The idea of building a Kanal in Istanbul other than the bosphorus goes back to 1950s. From time to time governments bring the idea up to test the public. However, so far there’s no sign of Kanal Istanbul actually happening. We do not advise our clients to base their investments of something as hypothetical as Kanal Istanbul. And that being said, the lands around Kanal Istanbul area have been grabbed by whales 15 years ago. So, to me it’s just a big marketing balloon with no real backing. I would focus on Finance Centre instead of Kanal Istanbul as we can actually see the finance centre progress.
@@user-ov2tm2un1r I understand that - thanks for responding but my question was on the hypathetical "what if - what would be the effects" if you wish to answer that would be cool bit if you don't deal with hypathetical that is cool!!!
