Sustaining Long Notes

Sustaining Long Notes.
Sometimes we need to hold a note for a few measures or sing a very long phrase on one breath. This can seem a little intimidating and maybe we stay away from songs with long held out notes, or we just cut them off too soon.
There are a few reasons we might run out of air while singing a long sustained note.
1. Breath. (Getting enough and managing it)
2. Not enough vocal cord closure.
3. Not utilizing the bigger muscles in our body to support the tiny vocal muscles.
In this video I give you tips and exercises that address all three of those issues.
