This little seal was *so* cute. I notice that when I raise the pitch of my voice to imitate Tony's here at the house and say "There's my puppy!" our little doggo's tail wags twice as fast as usual. :D Between Tony's voice, Wally's gentle removal of entanglements, Denzil's speed and dazzling smile and Naude's POV camera clenched between his teeth as he begins the chase, I think these "puppies" are very lucky indeed to have the entire OCN Team nearby.
These pups are so adorable. It's criminal that they got caught in these fishing materials. Thank you for freeing these innocent creatures with such patience and care.
Those little pups sure do love Wally. The first one runs to him like he’s their mommy. The second little fella never bit him even though Wally had his hands all around his mouth. Looked like Wally had his own little pet meerkat at the end Yay team!🦭🌊💙
I was shocked but also impressed by his quick thinking when Wally put his thumb over her nose so she would breathe through her mouth and you could remove the net. 👍👏
Gill net is the worst! That poor little innocent pup! The look on her face in the thumbnail photo is just heartbreaking. Her mum must have been frantic when her pup was unable to feed. And she's so tiny! Thank you so much for saving her. Well done!🦭😍🙏
I love when the seals wait a few seconds before running back in the water. It’s like they are saying Thank you. And Thanks to the OCN Team for rescuing both pups 🙏🦭❤️
Those two little pups wouldn't have stood a chance if it hadn't been for OCN ,to see them go back to the sea free is so heartwarming. Thankyou. 🤗💝🏴

The dedication is just out of this world !! I just imagine some of these seals without y’all helping them and the horrific pain and slow deaths some of them would have to endure & do endure without y’all’s help ! The seals & this world are lucky to have ppl like you !
We can do a lot more to save seals and all other wildlife on the planet. If every couple has just one child or less, we can reduce the human population from 8 billion to 2 billion in just two generations. It doesn't cost anything and produces NO pollution. If you love children, if you love animals if you love life, please help to spread this message.
@@tobewithyouhoo It won't work well, we'd be left with an aging population because of improvement in medicine and science and no young people to work and provide.
I'm so happy you were able to net both targets as they both desperately needed your help. Being captured must be terrifying for the seals but you are always so gentle, you speak softly and work as efficiently as possible to release them quickly. Your dedication is inspiring. Thank you OCN team.
Viewers often comment "the seal must know you're there to help, because it relaxes and doesn't bite". To me, it looks like the seals calm down and don't fight because they realize they're outmatched, so they're saving their strength to be ready for the next attack. When released, they're both surprised there was no attack and trying to decide which way to escape, so they stand there looking at all the guys standing around and run off to an opening. The big tough seals just fight nonstop and go charging off towards the water regardless who's in their way, because they figure they can fight their way out eventually. The baby seals don't know what's going on, so they just do anything.
They sometimes stop fighting the rescuers out of shock. They do seem to feel relief once a tight entanglement has been cut, they can breathe again, and that feeling m ight distract them. Rescues are stressful for an already stressed out animal, but unfortunately there is no better way.
WOW, how gently you guys removed that terrible gill net in her mouth and the rope from the deep cut in the pup's neck. Thank you for sharing your rescues in this beautiful place.Thank you so much, and also for your explanations.
Great saves, team! Wally’s specialty often positions him right by the seal mouths. His low bite rate is a testament to his abilities, and possibly special mojo that dissuades seals from biting him. Thanks to the entire team for your collaborative efforts, strength, gentle compassion, and love of nature.
We scan the different groups of Cape fur seals with binoculars, looking for 'imperfections' in their fur. It is really difficult, but we became quite good at it. The hardest part is to keep track of the target during the chase among hundreds of look-alike predators.
This was a bittersweet rescue! I hate the pain they are in but I love the tender sweet rescue🥰 The little girl was so so cute! Wally got to hold her and pet her…I envy you Wally! Thank you all for two more lives saved! They’re just precious!🦭♥️🙏♻️
I didn’t realize how much I had missed hearing “oh my puppy, it’s ok my puppy” from Tony the past few rescues! I know Tony said it too, but Naude the dentist, “Please open your mouth.”❤️ Thanks to all of you-ladies behind the scenes too😁-for all you do! 🥰🦭❤️
I think the first pup couldn’t stop thanking you, it’s a lovely sight to watch their little flippers beating the sand as they make their way back..wonderful work.
Amazing how some of the pups seem to need to assess what they just experienced before moving on. So glad you were able to find the little one and free its mouth. You guys are awesome.
Both seals were very happy to get rope and netting removed. You guys are doing a great job, and a credit to humanity and ocean life. Thank you very much 👍👍
Gosh, that was tough to watch. Poor pups must have been in terrible pain. So glad that you saved them and that they are now safely (I hope) back in the sea.

It's not always perfectly obvious how the team's intervention is saving the life of a seal but it's clear that, in the case of the second pup, another week or two would have been too late. Another timely rescue from our team of heroes! 👍
Dear OCN team I thank you so much for rescuing and helping these helpless and beautiful pups. You guys always know how to react to the different wounds and entanglements of the seals. Please stay healthy and well and please keep on going to help them further on. God bless and protect you all and your families. Greetings from Bavaria 🙏👍💞🍀🐞♥️💚💙

Oh my goodness, I can't say enough good about you guys! All your rescues are wonderful and that baby was so adorable! You guys are so sweet and gentle and just awesome! Thank you!
I am SO SO glad the team caught these babies when they did ... BOTH entanglements were absolutely HORRIBLE, and most certainly death traps for both pups. Plus, it's SO wonderful watching the team in action ... EACH member of OCN is attentive and caring, and you can tell each member also worries about the well-being of every seal (animal) they rescue. It's so heartwarming when the freed seals run to the water, and the little ones are darling when they're confused before they leave. Thank you, team OCN, for doing what you do SO well!
Two more beautiful babies saved, the second one being so horribly entangled, the gill net was in its mouth and caught there. That sweet little thing has a second chance now to grow and live a seal's life, when it was doomed before the OCN guys intervened.
