Something that I've learned is that if you have a crush on someone for a short amount of time and find out they aren't attracted to you it won't hurt nearly as much compared to crushing on someone for a long while. And getting the same result.

2 steps in and I already know I can't do it. I don't believe in myself. My parents say I'm successful because I get "good" grades, can "operate" a circular saw, do the dishes "better" than everybody else, "better" at first time driving but at the same time they say things that completely contradict those.
