Every time he acted out he took his anger out on Ridge instead of the person he was really mad at. Then there's Bridget. What she did to her is disgusting and unforgivable. Last there's Hope and RJ. She has caused Hope so much pain by constantly telling her to go after Liam even if Liam was married to Steffy. No good mother would support her daughters relationship with a man that could marry someone else in the manner in which Liam did. As far as RJ she just sends him off to boarding school. Brooke is a narcissists and only cares about herself. She doesn't care who she hurts because if she did she would never have done the horrendous things that she did to her own family. Not once, not twice but 7 times. If that's a good mother then a bad mother would be terrifying.

Brad doesn't utilise his whole cast, and whenever he does, it's just so that they can be props for the characters who already have their own storylines. They're working on other projects because they know that they'll never get a substantial amount of screen time on B&B (if this was pre-2018 we wouldn't even be having this conversation, TBH). Jacob Young who left the show in 2018 even explained in an interview that the reason why he left is because there wasn't enough work to go around, and when you watch the show...well, you can clearly see that he ain't lying!
For this storyline, if B&B doesn't get any emmy consideration for this, then it is a shame! This story was excellently written, excellently produced, and SPLENDIDLY acted. Everyone involved in this story should be proud of this work. This is soap acting, the way it really should be!

I love that Stephanie spoke the truth. Its Rick fault point blank PERIOD!!! RICK was in the driving seat..he started the car...he continues to drive a car when his passenger was unbolted and he knew she was hysterical why put the car in Drive. But Poor Lil Rick goes running to his Mom when he knew he did something unbelievably horrible. But in present-day Brooke wants Thomas head on a platter for keeping a secret but it's a accident when Rick reckless murders Phoebe Sr. Double standard to say the least.

Because when they were running Eric's and Ridge's DNA to see who was Bridget's father, right then and there the truth should have been revealed. Wow how funny it is that Rick went to the dark side and Brooke made a lot of excuses for him. But angry at Ridge for doing the same for his son now. Thomas has a mental illness after Caroline death but there was nothing wrong with Rick. He went after Ridge because of Brooke. And he never paid for his actions or took responsibility for Phoebe's death. Brooke is the biggest hypocrite in history she justify her kids actions but condemns other people kids.

@laneyau Taylor did not kill Darla on purpose she was helping change a tire and a nut was stuck. Darla pulled and when the nut finally came lose the force made darla fall and Taylor hit her. She didn't lie about killing Darla and as for Taylor and Thorne he forgave her and they were about to get married. They didn't because Alexandria was uncomfortable with them together. As for Taylor being gone from her children's life is because of Prince Omar who was obessed with Taylor who was in a coma.

Stephanie's motives and actions puzzled me sometimes but no one played angry better than Susan Flannery in the role. And for the record I was never a Brooke or Rick fan but Stephanie still baffled me sometimes. Plus if Phoebe had survived I'm sure Brooke would have blamed her for the accident.
If the situation was reversed. Thomas was driving and Hope is the one dead in the car accident, do you think Brooke will say it was an accident? Will she be defending Thomas and making excuses for him knowing that he was the one driving when her daughter dead the way she is defending Rick?

I remember the crash very well as if it were yesterday and it was not Rick's fault in anyway. Phoebe came to see Rick when Rick was about to leave for the party. She wanted to get into an argument with him but he wasn't having it. He saw that she was upset and decided to leave for the party. I think that's what got her mad. The fact that Rick was walking away from her. Phoebe followed him into his car and started going in on him. She started hitting him and grabbing the wheel and she mashed the accelerator by accident and that's how the crash happened. So in reality it was Phoebe's fault. She should've had more control over herself. She shouldn't have allowed Rick to take her there to the point. It so sad because it costs her her life
The fact that Rick is an A**h**e does not make the crash his fault her getting physical with him and grabbing the wheel and not having her seat belt on is what killed her Rick is a bad person but he did not kill her.
If you get in a car to argue with someone who you are completely pissed off at don,t put on your seat belt start attacking the driver and grabbing the wheel you are going to crash how is that his fault he did not know she was going to grab the wheel and she was responsible for her own seat belt. She hated him she should not have gotten in the car she was at fault.

I'm not getting why everyone seems to be on Stephanie's side...I love her and quite honestly hate Brooke's behavior but this was not her fault or Rick's fault. Phoebe jumped in and was angry and grabbed the wheel causing him to swerve erratically. She had every right to be considering the circumstances but that is what happened. Of course, she didn't mean for the car accident to happen, neither of them did, that's why its called an accident. It was no one's fault.

Blood does not make a man a father it's being there for a child and raising them with love and that's exactly what Eric did for Ridge. Eric not being Ridge's father was a horrible rewrite and insults ones intelligence. Why?? Because when they were running Eric's and Ridge's DNA to see who was Bridget's father, right then and there the truth should have been revealed. Afaic Eric is Ridge's dad and any relationship between any of his daughters and Rick was borderline incestuous. He messed with Taylor, Phoebe and steffi to spite Ridge and he said as much. Rick is a psychopath. Lest we forget that he shot Grant and let Ridge take the fall for it. And then he had a psychotic break and forgot what he did. You think Brooke would ever take the fall for any of Ridge's kids??? Hell no. Not to mention the time Rick shot at both Caroline and Ridge. Then Rick once feigned injury to kick and keep Ridge out of his moms house. Rick has borderline Oedipus complex. Through all of this, Brooke vehemently defends her rotten son.Nobody is arguing that Thomas isnt a lil cray. He is. But Brooke is a damn hypocrite for giving Ridge ultimatums and other BS for being there for his son when she's been there for hers......

Wow how funny it is that Rick went to the dark side and Brooke made a lot of excuses for him. But angry at Ridge for doing the same for his son now. Thomas has a mental illness after Caroline death but there was nothing wrong with Rick. He went after Ridge because of Brooke. And he never paid for his actions or took responsibility for Phoebe's death. Brooke is the biggest hypocrite in history she justify her kids actions but condemns other people kids.

@laneyau Taylor did not kill Darla on purpose she was helping change a tire and a nut was stuck. Darla pulled and when the nut finally came lose the force made darla fall and Taylor hit her. She didn't lie about killing Darla and as for Taylor and Thorne he forgave her and they were about to get married. They didn't because Alexandria was uncomfortable with them together. As for Taylor being gone from her children's life is because of Prince Omar who was obessed with Taylor who was in a coma.

She admitted that she was drinking when she got the call from Steffy who was stranded on the road with a flat tire, and rushed to get there as quickly as possible. Stephanie's motives and actions puzzled me sometimes but no one played angry better than Susan Flannery in the role. And for the record I was never a Brooke or Rick fan but Stephanie still baffled me sometimes. Plus if Phoebe had survived I'm sure Brooke would have blamed her for the accident.

I remember the crash very well as if it were yesterday and it was not Rick's fault in anyway. Phoebe came to see Rick when Rick was about to leave for the party. She wanted to get into an argument with him but he wasn't having it. He saw that she was upset and decided to leave for the party. I think that's what got her mad. The fact that Rick was walking away from her. Phoebe followed him into his car and started going in on him. She started hitting him and grabbing the wheel and she mashed the accelerator by accident and that's how the crash happened. So in reality it was Phoebe's fault. She should've had more control over herself. She shouldn't have allowed Rick to take her there to the point. It so sad because it costs her her life

Rick is too blame. He could have easily 1: NOT START the car and begin driving, 2: STOP the car when she held the wheel and 3: Told her to PUT ON the damn SEATBELT. How stupid could one be. I'm not getting why everyone seems to be on Stephanie's side...I love her and quite honestly hate Brooke's behavior but this was not her fault or Rick's fault. Phoebe jumped in and was angry and grabbed the wheel causing him to swerve erratically. She had every right to be considering the circumstances but that is what happened. Of course, she didn't mean for the car accident to happen, neither of them did, that's why its called an accident. It was no one's fault.
