Eric was a disloyal fool. He never deserved Stephanie. Jack Hamilton, or Massimo would have treated her like a queen, protected her, & with Massimo, she would definitely stepped UP from Eric in every way. Stephanie was more loyal to the Forrester family than Eric ever was.

Eric was such an absolute bastard, but B&B was true to the game examining and showcasing Eric and Stephanie's marriage to the very end, from Stephanie mentioning her white hair and her figure to Eric bringing up how Stephanie married him after getting pregnant by trapping him. Masterful. Old folks on this show still spark a fire....

Steffi tried to blackmail Brooke into making Donna turn over her shares back to the Forresters or else Steffi would tell Ridge about Brooke sleeping with Eric. Brooke said the hell with that. The Logans may betray each other romantically but when it comes to money they have each other back. BROOKE TOLD ridge about Oliver. Donna took her stock and sold it back to $Bill. And Ridge fired Steffi for blackmailing his wife. And that is how Donna got her $$$$

I absolutely love this scene JM and SF have always had incredible chemistry. They have the "old married couple" element down like no other pair I've seen in daytime. The dialogue here and its basis in their rich, complicated history are what make this scene--though not over-the-top--incredibly dramatic. I especially love the last few lines of the clip and the smirk on Eric's face at the end. That "Oh, Stephanie" look and that realization that he (just like the viewers) knows that she's right.
Eric was like a little boy with toys and put Stephanie thru hell and she was right abt all of them all those women he left Stephanie for dumped his ass for someone younger except maybe crazy Shelia

Because they were happy than. They had problems when the show started, but when Beth and her little lowgan gang came after the forrester family, that was the start of this whole mess. Steph real problems, issues and troubles began with them.

He has never appreciated all the sacrifices she has made for him! Despite all he has done to her she still manages to love him through it all! She has her faults an has made mistakes but she is one strong & loyal woman who fights for what she loves!

Eric could be a cruel man but he contradicts himself all the time depending if he is with a new young wife or crawling back to Stephanie. Then he was full of flowery compliments. If Stephanie ever got close to another man he usually got in the way of it by crawling back to her. Still they had such great chemistry and when they were good they were very good. Eric was definitely the love of her life even to the point of obsessiveness and I do believe Eric genuinely loved her too. So miss Susan Flannery an absolutely amazing actress. Whether you loved or hated Stephanie, Susan's performances of the complex character of Stephanie were always the best thing about this show. Bold and the Beautiful died with Stephanie in my opinion. I cant watch it now, a shadow of the show it was.

Just when he thought he was out...She pulled him back in. She doesn't really like Eric very much. at this point and I don't think she liked him for the whole duration of her tenure on the show. He did leave her multiple times and went back. That's what Ridge did between Brooke and Taylor.

The real problem with Eric and Stephanie is Stephanie being unwilling to accept he was no longer happy with her, and her constant manipulation and begging to make him want to be in a marriage he checked out of years before. Eric was never a bad man for people who truly know the history, and have watched the early seasons. I’ll never understand why so many viewers felt bad for Stephanie. He was miserable and unfulfilled which I’m sure would be a disaster for any person, but especially an artist……and instead of Stephanie constantly wanting to own him like a possession, she should have just let him go. I honestly felt bad for HIM!!
