When you first use a coarse compound to prepolish and then put the polishing fine compound on top, you won't get the polishing finish because the coarse compound stays on the disc and just gets mixed with the polishing compound so essentially you waste the polishing compound and end up not polishing your piece.
Keep talking with your hands! They're a part of our vocabulary :D
I so respect your self-taught skills and am very impressed at the quality of your videos and what you do. Keep going!!
Thank you so much!! That explains it perfectly!! 🙏🏻☺️💜 and thank you so much for your encouragement! 🥹
You are an inspiration! Proud of you for not taking negative comments personally. Some individuals do not understand the challenges, work involved, and perseverance it takes to make your beautiful pieces. Job well done! Keep up the beautiful jewelry.
Thank you so much for you’re kind words! 🥹🩷💜
I am impressed and most of all inspired. I admire your tenacity, your mindset, your work ethic, and your overall demeanor. You've taken on quite a bit; being an entrepreneur/business owner, a jeweler, a photographer, a videographer, a video editor, a social media influencer, all the while having a day job, being a mom, a wife, a family... and you're loving it all. I love it!
Thanks you so so much! It isn't always easy, but I love it so much I really can't stop lol. Thank you 🥹💕
Keep goin babe ur doing very well. N as for the bad comments its always from people who do nothing with themselves and like to bring people down 👎 dont stress it. Hope this works out for u
Thank you so much 🙏🏻🥲
as an amateur jeweler you're doing pretty well
Thank you so much!! 🩷🙏🏻
The first compound has bigger grit particles and rouge smaller. Think of it as sand paper. Please don’t quote me, but it like using 1000, then 2000 sandpaper (not sure of numbers).
If you don’t use two mops you will be polishing with both grits at the same time and not get the brilliant shine you want.
Hope this info is helpful. Just found your channel and love you work. Well done on the grain setting, you are braver than me. 💍
Holy moly, that makes so much sense, thank you for explaining that! 💜💜🙈 thank you also for the compliment, sometimes you have to just jump in, you can do it! 💜 practice on some silver bands and CZ’s and you will grow quickly 🫶🏼
Thank you for the encouragement and you are very welcome regarding info.
It's really nice to see relative beginners embracing gravers! Most awesome! You mentioned having to start all over again if you mess up a cast (not "casted"; past tense of cast is cast) piece; How about either making a mold yourself (of the wax or the final cast piece) or having your casting company make you a mold? If you need another, just message them. They will have your mold on file/in storage for you. They just send what you order. Great production on your content! 👏
Thank you! It was a scary jump just to start practicing but it’s really rewarding when it works out 🙏🏻🙈 that’s a GREAT idea about molds! I am still relatively small though and a lot of my pieces are made one off, rarely do I replicate the same one over and over again. Is making the mold at home a straight forward process? That may be more cost effective at this stage then having the caster do it?
Thank you again for your incredibly helpful comment, you’re amazing! 🙏🏻 May I ask what do you do? 💜
@MiteraMade Mold making is pretty fun and straightforward. I'll find you on IG and send you some links of products and info! 🌺😎
Don't worry about any idiot comments- you are truelly inspiring
Thank you so much 💜🥹
I would like to be a traveler from the future and bring you the message that your channel has become very popular. For this to happen, here is my humble contribution. I signed up and will accompany you while you post your videos. I'm a precious stone cutter (hobby) here in Brazil and I really liked your work. Congratulations to you and family.

People make stupid comments out of their own insecurities!😂
I just happened to stumble on your channel. Glad I did! You're adorable and a natural. Not to mention that you're teaching a very fun and potentially profitable biz. Keep Going! Much love to you----Charlie

I think that most people "talk with their hands" ... I do.
I admire your self taught talent! I want to do it too!

Hey I am also interested in pursuing my jewelry business. You are a great inspiration. Believe and keep up the good work.
I'm so happy I can inspire you, keep pushing!! And thank you for your encouragement! 🙏❤😊
Hi! I loved watching your video! I love your jewelry! I used to make jewelry, I made jewelry for 10 years. Back then my youngest child was five, when I started and I used to do craft shows. Then I did a few home shows. I had a website, then managed to get my jewelry in a gift shop and a fine jewelry store. I didn’t know how to market. I did learn who my target customer was. Social Media like Facebook and RUclips wasn’t a thing until the last few years of me making jewelry. I had three kids and a full time job. I took jewelry classes when I could to learn new techniques. I loved it and knew if I had found jewelry before having my kids, I would have made it a career. I ended up getting a job that took a lot of time and I had lots of activities with my kids and I stopped making jewelry.
I know how hard this is and I think you are super talented!! Never let anyone bring you down. I love what you are doing and subbed immediately!
Funny thing is I’ve been thinking about a RUclips channel. I’m now a Financial Coach and I loved that you talked about starting a RUclips channel and your jewelry.
Oh, I still have all my fine silver, sterling silver, jewelry supplies and equipment. I just couldn’t get rid of it. Maybe one day I will go back when I retire and have time. Or maybe I will make jewelry just for me!
Keep going!!! You are awesome! 💗
That was so nice to read about your story!! You went SO far with it, I can tell you have a true true passion for making jewelry. 🥹 I would love to hear you reconnected with that old friend one day in the future! ☺️💜
As for a RUclips channel for being a financial coach, I think that’s an AMAZING idea!! 🎉☺️
I really enjoyed watching your video! Thank you!
Thank you so much! ☺️🙏🏻
Maybe not talent but you definitely have skills. Talent is natural, skills takes work and perseverance. Talent is stagnant, skills grow and have no limits. If you have talent you still need to grow your skills but you don't need talent to learn skills. ❤
Thank you so much for the validation. I’ve never had natural talent for anything really lol but learning this skill and trying to build upon it is so much fun and rewarding 🙏🏻💜 thank you!! 💜
You are very talented. People like him/her need to tear other people down in order to build themselves up. I know it hurts, but try to ignore people like them.
Thank you so much! 🫶🏼 I totally get that that’s all it is. 💕 I don’t take it to heart but it’s still surprising 🙈 lol
your packaging and boxes for shipping looks high quality. Where do you get it at?
Love your talent and the journey you’re on!
Thank you 🥹💜
What camera do you use to record your videos?
Hello! 😊 I use a canon 90D but honestly an 80D has pretty identical results 💕
Where did you get that shipping label printer from? Amazing vid
Thank you!! I got it on Amazon ☺️ I have it linked in my Amazon Storefront amzn.to/43xoWT6
Wonderful work and thanks for sharing your talent!
Thank you so much! 🥹
What…… no talent….! Dream on buddy…! All the talent more like. Thanks for another great Vlog
Thank you so much Jason! 🙏🏼🥲
You are very talented and interesting and wonderful 🌹👏👏👏👍🏾👌❤
Thank you so much! 💜

How you practice?
Do it over and over again on a sheet of practice metal. Intense in the beginning, but so worth it!
I love your jewelry 😊
Thank you 🥹
@@MiteraMade your welcome
Sorry. Had to give this video a thumbs down for taking the Lord's name in vain. Was a good video, otherwise. ☹️👎
How did you make your eyebrows look like caterpillars ? Most people would look weird with them but on you they look great. 😃
Thank you, I think? 😂🐛
