What was the outcome with this battery setup? What kind of flight time did you end up getting and how was the handling? Do the batteries weigh much more than the original?
I made a 3s pack and it only flys for less than one minute. The Bebop cannot determain charge state on 3800mAh battery pack. I think there will have to be firmware hacking done. My drone was loosing about 5% per second flying. All cells were balanced and at 4.2v.
But which model of Panasonic? There are ANY Panasonic right now with more than 3600mAh... The problem is not on firmware hacking but on max discharge rate of cells. Old Panasonic's havent big discharge and are 'saggy' under high current. I will test soon with 3500mAh and 10A cont discharge.
1. 18650 don't have enough drain to maintain it flying, even the highdrain ones - Samsung R25 2. The connectors in these battery holders will melt in seconds their plastic frames! All these tested already, doesn't work
The battery connectors you need are Mini Tamiya. I got them them here: www.amazon.de/dp/B00NJRRRPM/ref=pe_386171_37038021_TE_3p_M3T1_dp_1 I would be very curious to know what flight time you can reach with your configuration!
I figured(right or wrong), that the bebop draws 10 amps to operate. I don't know a lot about battery draw, but if you have 3 2-amp batteries which will draw at 5 amps rate, don't you still wind up with only a 5 amp draw? Personally, I see your way of doing things as the absolute best solutions to the crappy Bebop batteries and their incidious Bebop charger system ... The charger is the weakest point of their whole enterprize on an otherwise really nice drone ,,,

Hi.
Where can i find the battery adapter?

What the name of cells? Maybe you use FAKE CELLS called "Ultrafire" with real capacity
+Michał Giczalec true Panasonic cells

+Michał Giczalec Panasonic ncr1850b
These cells have 3400mAh, not 3800mAh also 6,5A max discharge. Bebop takes more. That is why. Now are available better cells. I will test soon.
I would not trust spring connection to hold batteries when in flight
Hi, whre can i buy the connectors to connect them to bebop 2?
Thank u so much. I will definitively do that. Edit: after reading the comments, I probably won't lol

I haven't fly with it yet since i don't have the proper battery connector for this setup.
+RC Strike use an tamiya connector
it should work
imax6 power cord
How many mah are the batteries and what time of flight do you have with it?
Well, how was your flight on these batteries? Video show.
not for long time:)

Cool wot.are the connectors called.for Bebop 1 cheers
the connector on the battery side is a female mini tamiya connector
Whats time in fly?
So what do you think will happen if thw 18650 battery were 12000mah?
+Minecraft chalk That will cause longer flight time if they were 12000mAh.
+RC Strike lol i just got 3 3800mah cells
3.7 volts i guess it should work but i still need tamiya connector
and the battery housing
3800mAh? What a model name? Don't tell that "UltraFire". They are fake.
Michał Giczalec no mine isn't named i think it can only output 2-3 C
Don't trust them. I think that have less 1500mAh.

Try to fly it i wanna know how long it last
How well will it fly with the conversation
Those batteries don't work, they can't keep up with the power demand. I tried it.
Which 18650 batteries are you using? The batteries usually do not have a high enough amp draw rating.
he said that in 2:36, watch the video before coment...
@@Skajlajnm Yep, he says it, but I had to really listen to hear it ...
Fly it
When u put the propellers than it says motor error :)
Hi, how many amps must have single li-ion battery?
