I completely agree that the character's death was obtuse. I've heard that it was a result of contract non renewal. The writers say that death was the route they chose to provide finality to that love triangle story arc😒. On a happy note, the show does go on. This was my favorite series!
I, too, love ArcLight Cinemas. I actually just came from there and bought popcorn, like I do every time, because it's so yummy and it's my guilty pleasure. A few of my August favorites were: Five Presidents by Clint Hill (book), My Voice by Angie Martinez (book), Mask of Magnaminty from Lush (face mask) and The Last Bookstore (bookstore in LA). Visually, this video was stunning!

I loved Stranger Things! I put off watching it for a while because I'm a scaredy cat and I thought it would be too scary for me, but then people kept raving about it so I had to check it out. I loved the kids who played the main characters. They were all so good, particularly Eleven. And Winona was amazing too of course. I'm curious to see what they do with the second season and if they'll be able to recapture the awesomeness of the first season!
Looove Eleven, including her nickname and how it was short for a number instead of "Elle." Can't wait for season 2, as well! ^_^

I'm soo happy someone else is just as upset and emotional about the death of that particular character in the Goodwife!!! I completely understand your anger I too still get mad thinking about it and I finished it like 3 months ago!!! It's just not the same!!! 😁 it's just frustrating!

Ok, ok, ok...The Good Wife. I was PISSED!!! I was like of allllll the people that could have kicked the bucket you take him?! NOW?! I didn't want to keep watching either. I hated how it ended but like you say it was very much like real life. Started rocky....ended rocky. Ugh! Rollercoaster of emotions.

Yes for narcos..I binged it this past weekend and OMG 😱so many emotions lol..yes for vice and check out Becca highlighters I think you would enjoy the poured version ..but those are amazing as well to get that glow. Hourglass has an amazing palette out for the holidays I'm debating ..makeup problems..anyways love ur faves as usual ..

You lighting is excellent as well as the backdrop so fresh and chic.
A video suggestion pls could you do a video about your YT channel e.g why you started YT the equipment you use for filming, what you use for editing your videos, show us your filming area etc. Also any tips for starting a YT channel especially if you feel hesitant or scared.

I LOVE Stranger Things!! Definitely one of my favorite shows right now and I can't wait for season 2. It's a really fun and interesting show. Also I'm curious have you or anyone else watched Atlanta and/or Queen Sugar? I have a feeling those will be September favorites!!

I love that your popcorn habit is as strong as mine. I eat it often too and I'm always on the look out for a new popcorn. Tell you what though if you oven bake cauliflower marinated in malt vinegar and salt it is super yummy and a little bit like popcorn (just saying in case you need to Mummy popcorn it up) Great video as always

Hi A!! Loved this whole video 😂 @ the Skinny Pop rant. Skinny Pop is the best tho!! They're delicious and usually on sale at Walgreens, which is nice. Have you ever tried Popcorners chips before? They're so different, but so yummy. I think you might like them. I love the Kettle flavor the best (stay away from the Butter flavor, tasted super weird).
I haven't started Stranger Things yet, but will most likely start this weekend. I've been hearing nothing but good things about it. I just wish there were more episodes. I feel like I'm always searching for a new show to watch because I run thru seasons so quickly lol. I'd recommend The Get Down on Netflix, if you haven't seen it already. A little over the top at times, but still worth a watch if you're a fan of hip hop😊. Take Care❤-Angie🤗

I love that we spent 5mins on popcorn. I love popcorn & I'm so happy I'm back home & I can get my Chicago mix anytime. The popcorn addiction is real. And no cauliflower is not a substitute for popcorn as it not one for rice or macaroni and cheese. My mom eats that stuff. I'm not with it

Your popcorn addiction is worse than mine 😂 And I thought I was bad 😆 I also have the same reaction to dairy so I avoid it as much as possible. I miss white cheddar...it's not common flavoring in Europe where I reside. I totally agree about Vice! I actually avoided UD b/c I was sick of the Naked Palette craze; but, their Vice lippie formula is amazing...it's somehow moisturizing without any sliding and the pigmentation is on point 👌 About the choker, I have the same reservations...seems 90's is trending hardcore lately. It's like a blast from the past - it's cool to look grungy and mismatched again 😆

So nostalgic for that black and white notebook ✏📝✏ Ive been collecting notebooks since then - just love the smell of paper, books, trees 😊 I just pulled out a new one with the phrase 'Things are looking up from now' on the cover. My other favorite is Doctor Who! I'm so obsessed with time travel stories hahhaa

I agree with Savvy, and am enjoying the new variety on your channel. I actually eat Smartfood popcorn every other day. I may have tried the smart pop before, a long time ago. But.. it must not've left a lasting impression on me. Think I'll try it again, in maybe different flavors. When it comes to milk I use to drink soy, back-n-the-day. Soy milk is actually pretty good, but kind of expensive. So I ended up going back to 2% for years, until lately. I've been thinking of letting cow milk go.I recently tried Almond, and it wasn't bad. After listening to you break down the whole lactating cow thing, I know it's time for a change. ☺ #Goingbacktomysoymilkdays

I am with you on The Good Wife! I was so upset by the death, that I actually haven't watched it since. I still have the episodes saved on my DVR, and I will probably finish it at some point, but I haven't wanted to yet. I assume it was a contractual thing, because it just didn't make any sense to me (in my opinion, haha).
Mmmhmmm, the strangeness of the decision story-wise made me google if that was the situation.🤔
I literally stopped watching the show after that character died. I cried with them. It was such an emotionally draining couple of episodes. I held out for about a season and then I found out they wanted to leave the show so I got back into it. Still miss them but can't fault the show because of their choice to leave.

Is it sad that I started the good wife when Ameriie mentioned it in the other video and have since finished the whole series...and like a month ago 😆 some parts were hard for me to get into, but I stuck it out. was very disappointed by the death ( Esp since my mother spoiled it for me before I saw it! Literally thought she was joking when she told me) it just made everything weird. And they had to like replace that characters role with another character... Just wasn't feeling it. And the end just about made me feel like I had wasted my life. Not to spoil it, I was just unenthused. Side note, I now want to buy everything in this video... Guess thats the point right??👌

She still does, she's just sharing the beauty part right now. Since everyone has been asking about her make up and skin/hair regimen. So this is the beauty part for now.
Still definitely making book videos. I usually do 1 video a week, but now that I'll be having more non-bookish videos, I'm trying to do 2 videos a week instead of 1 (1 bookish video + 1 non-bookish video). I was on a writing deadline and building my new blog/website so I didn't get much done in the way of reading the last month and a half. But still expect weekly bookish videos in the future!
(Plus, I did realize that I'd really neglected the "Beauty" aspect to "Books Beauty Ameriie" for a long time!)

I stopped watching The Good Wife because it was sooooo slow moving and it was repetitive so I gave up. Also the lead character was so lifeless and bland!!!
ah darn, but yes, I can see why you felt that way. She's actually one of my less fave characters. Perhaps skip up into season 2 or 3? Diane is my fave, as is Carey!
