    TM is a real READY TO RACE !!!!! no ktm you can choose 4 different fork, and 4 different Rear shock absorber when you buy a TM. and you can ask for a setting for you from the from the Italian factory when make your motorbike ! fantastic!

      Absolutely right. TM makes the most amazingly performing supermoto bikes too. The French National supermoto team of two riders just won the supermoto national competition for the 4th time in a row in september 2018. Amazing bikes truly and I'm so proud and glad to own a TM bike.

    my buddy had a 144 kit in his YZ back in 2000. way more bottom and mid, and a bit more up top. made it easy to go fast. no one knew he had a 144 during the season.

    My buddy had a 2006 tm 300 and the chassis was kindof a bummer but the engine was like no 2 stroke ive ever ridden. It almost felt like a bone stock carbureted 450 torque wise then came on through the midrange almost like a kx500 man the thing just stood up and carried the front wheel 4 inches off the ground all the way through 5th gear.

  • @DiegoRuiz1991

    A 144cc bike is pretty much 100% pointless.
    It's a 125cc bike with more power... but less than a 200cc or a 250cc. Of course it weights slightly more than a 125cc bike, probably to the point where the difference with the smaller bike is a second per lap or so.
    If you ever want to race this bike will put you in the 200cc or 250cc class where the bigger bikes will probably murder you. Until most races allow 144cc to race against 125cc 2-strokes and 250cc 4-strokes they're the stupidest size possible. Probably even worse than the 300cc 2-strokes in American MX (in enduro and in Europe they have their place)!

    • @jakeharthill1674
      @jakeharthill1674 7 лет назад

      Diego Ruiz or buddy you can race a LWT-2 class (86-200cc) and this bike could defiantly shred! And it probably at most only 2-3 pounds heavier then a 125.

    • @DiegoRuiz1991
      @DiegoRuiz1991 7 лет назад

      JakeHarthill 167 As I said above 200cc bikes are a thing and they're or at least can be faster.

    • @cbh148
      @cbh148 7 лет назад

      the majority of buyers of MX bikes never race, and the vast majority never race in some league where the rules are so strict that they'd outlaw one of these bikes from whatever Lites class. so there's that.

    • @DiegoRuiz1991
      @DiegoRuiz1991 7 лет назад

      cbh148 I just see it as a middle step nobdy asked for or nobody needs. A bit like superminis in a way. There is not that much of a gap in horsepower from 85cc to 125cc, it is stupid to fit a class there. Same goes for 300cc 2-stroke bikes, either make them grow to like 350cc or just get a 250cc 2-stroke.
      Racing regulations have made too much of a mark in dirtbikes for the average folk. Back in the day, when the big class was almost open, we had stuff like 360cc 2-strokes and that was fairly cool but it was more powerful than a 250cc but not as crazy/stupid as a 500cc. Now nobody builds anything over 300cc 2-strokes because nobody allows them to race.
      Almost all dirtbikes sold to the public exist because some championship allows them to race. The only oddballs are bikes like the KTM 690 Enduro R (yes, 690cc 4-strokes for trails and gravel roads), everything else is made to modify and race somehow somewhere.
