There is no other phone out there that can combine the total package, that the Motorola Razr 5G offers. Nostalgia (the innovators of folding phones... Motorola StarTac). Style (nothing compares to this phone when looking at all the basic phablets and screen blocks out there... and Yes, the Samsung Fold looks like a folding phablet, only much thicker... Wooo Hoo Samsung!!!! $3000 double thick chunky phablet... Now THAT is a joke!) Price (that is the price to pay for being part of the select club... just look at Tesla). Software (Motorola Still combines the best slim Android experience by a manufacture, i.e. shake to turn on flash light etc.) And then of course no mention of the fact that this is a true 5G phone that can actually work in North America unlike a lot of other "High End" premium phones which do not because they do not support the bands offered. PhoneArena missed the boat BIG TIME on this review, and they are not the only one's. So what..., it doesn't have the fastest bleeding edge processor that will be beat the very next day by some other smartphone. Not every single smartphone owner will waste his time playing "PS4 like games" for hours on end on a smartphone. And more seriously, PhoneArena did not show any proof when claiming the wifi connection would frustratingly disconnect (how credible a review is that? really?). And of course price, they make no mention that the phone is Actually $1199 and NOT $1400, so it is ACTUALLY priced below the Knock Off Samsung Z Flip 2. Price should not be a metric in any phone review simply because it has no basis in evaluating the actual product for what it is. Example, diamonds have a value that to one person they could justify spending $60,000 on a 1 1/2 carat I3 diamond vs $35,000 on a 1 1/2 carat SI1 (it's four times inferior to the I3 diamond and yet is considered Jeweler grade... oh, and it costs $20,000 less). Is it better? Is it a better buy? Who CARES... that is the price of admission to owning "said" product. If you can't afford a Bentley, then walk right on by the Bentley dealer and head over to the Hyundai dealership.
I totally agree. Besides i feel youtubers are comparing this phone with the rest out there which is like apples vs oranges. The only phone that this should be compared to is the Zflip phone. I bought the Razr 5G and i have ZERO wifi issues. I didn’t pay $1199 neither $1499. And yes, you pay the price to join the club of “futuristic technology”. I think it is a great cellphone.
Yeah, I mean, this guy is asking for things that aren't even possible. That's why the Z flip -that has them- is an ugly brick that can be fold in half. Motorola had to make sacrifices to keep the form factor and they delivered. Of course it isn't perfect, this is completely new tech.
The price is absolutely outrageous. I don't see why anyone would spend this much money on a phone, but then again people still buy iPhone on release. Smh
Beware though Motorola requires a $1,000 hold on a card to ship you out one prior to you sending yours even if it's under warranty I'm glad I have insurance
as you said - great for daily tasks, but then you say it doesn't "feel" like a flagship chipset - most people wouldn't even know the difference - TOO MUCH FOCUS on just SPECS!! If you use a phone or anything which uses a current, there's heat dissipated - it's plain physics. Overall, it sound like you want to like it but are afraid that it's not a SAMSUNG flip - which by the way is $100 more expensive & is FUGLY.
Motorola is now offering a 400 dollar discount for the 2nd generation razor . Very tempting. But not having wireless capabilities is holding me back from purchasing
Hi there mr, May I kindly ask, whenever you open up your camera app, does it have a notification sound? As mine always do and I do and can not find anyway to switch it off.. as it’s annoying every time I open up my camera
None of those reviewers actually talk about the 'phone' feature and call quality which on this phone, is the best on the market. Too many reviewers are obsessed with refresh rates nonsense and processor speed. People buying this phone will buy it for its unique form factor and call quality not to play games. Pfffffff
I just bought a mint condition razr 5g on swappa for 380 shipped. But, for some reason it makes a static/buzzing sound when recording a video. Anyone having this same issue?
I was surprised to see my old favourite the RAZR, I had a RAZR V3 and it was my favourite phone back then before we had the new full screen ones we have today. In NZ a Samsung Galaxy Fold is $2700, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip $1250, RAZR 2020 $2400, Huawei Mate Foldable $3600, Microsoft Surface Duo $2500. To be honest I am still very happy with my Samsung S9 and although I like the idea of foldable phones, I would like to see more improvements first. If and when that happens, I would probably still go with the RAZR as its smaller, easy to use, I don't need multiple cameras and I have a soft spot for them. Cheers Kev
Well done Motorolla for Designing a phone that does not look like any others (bricks). Well done for bringing back an iconic product!
T-Mobile, 499 just received mine today OS 11. Beautiful device time will tell but absolutely love it. Thanks for Your Review

Bloody Motorola fan boy, samsung and iphone are the best. (Texting from my moto z3)

You live once, and you can't take you're money with you when you die.
Folding phones do not have any demand. I still like the Moto Razr better than any others. I will probably get one.
6:56 why do the photos seem to be taken at a different time? Look at the sky reflection on the window and the lamps.
other reviews saying how creaky hinge has been improved to be smooth as can be in razor 2 5g. hmm
maybe this channel is biased?
Mine doesn't creak when opening
Mr mobile says it's good device and his going to buy one on his 5g review

Z fold 2 also sounds when you 're unfolding the phone so that's not an important thing to tell ( sounds like a kick on the back of the phone )
Pokémon go on the external screen 2.7 oled?can be opened from there ? Thx

Yep I will keep my note 9
U mean note 8?

YGTBKM... nice review but anyone who pays anywhere near that kind of money for any phone is bonkers.
People who buy apple do
hmmmm that doesnt look like mine??

The razr is water resistant
Nice concept but bad execution
Look at Z flip 2000 dollars really
$1400 for this??? Wtf ????
You can buy xbox series x and PlayStation 5 and expandable memory for that price.
@@MrJay197409 but your Xbox or Playstation won't fold this phone will fold!
1500 for the same fucking iPhone as 5 years ago?
Mobile's box is good but mobile is bad
Watch iPhone come out with something like this now God I hope not. I’m getting rid of my iPhone 13 for a Motorola Razr.
And this is for how much again? Na ah.. nope. Price tag vs everything about the phone is sounding more like a scam. 😅✌🏻
£300 is maximum price for this phone, more than that bloody rip off.
Explain why
The phone is glass and PLASTIC, not aluminum as clearly advertised by Motorola. What a scam
