- Training Drunken Fist has to be the hardest skill set I've learned. Hence the video description, "A Work In Progress" this just shows the training and movements I shall improve and work on!
I'm never satisfied with my movements for Drunken Fist, therefore I NEED MORE TRAINING!

Hi, friend! I would love to do so, but unfortunately I had recently tore my ACL and Mensicus almost two months ago from Kungfu training, so I'll be out for a year. I'll still try to release content!🙏

May I ask which style's drunken form is this? Do you also have the application of the movements?
0:46 -- I have a bad knee, so this move would be very difficult for me.
It's so weak, I'm afraid I may break it if I try to bend that way.
I want to gradually work up to it, though, and strengthen my knee by doing the wimpy version first. LOL
That's ok. Everyone's body is different and needs to adjust accordingly to improve for a particular move. I'd recommend on focusing on basic conditioning and working on back bends (bridges) to help get to that point.

I've found that pausing every time you adopt a difficult or unfamiliar position to check on your knee, how tense is it? how's the angle? that sort of thing, is very helpful.
@@matthewbreytenbach4483 Thanks. During the five months that have elapsed, I have been working out regularly with Drunken Fist Style exercises, and I'm happy to say that my knee has gotten much stronger. I can now do many things with it that I couldn't do when I wrote the above comments.

You're right actually! Most "Wushu" is performance based such as this one being portrayed. Although, "Traditional" does offer real applications, but I'll leave that to your interpretation :)
Watch carefully though, there's a lot to be learned here.
