I had to rewind the video but I did see the cassette toilet under the bed/under bed door storage. Agree each model of theses comes with different amenities. Overall great little camper!
The cassette toilet was under the bed. It does come with one as an option. And I’m ok with not having a cook top. There is room so you could always add your own. Just add a shower tent for the outdoor shower. Nice for under $15,000.
I'm thinking this would pair very well with a screen shelter. Put up a folding table, and you have your cooktop outside, not making a mess in the camper itself.
The 3 things I like about this pop-up camper: 1. A/C unit 2. the simplicity of setting up 3. water heater The 3 things I don't like about this pop-up camper: 1. a dorm style fridge instead of the cooler and lack of a cooktop or convection microwave oven 2. track guide on the drawer 3. I wish their was a wet bath
I can dig it. Better than a tent but not a pop up. It has off road capabilities and you can definitely cook and sleep well in it. I’d probably add some lithium and a few ground panels. I think it has a cassette toilet up in the storage. Nice it has AC and an outside shower.
Heck, you don’t need the ice chest fridge, just set the case of beer on the floor, the meat and veggies in the sink.. and turn in the AC. That unit will freeze out that little trailer
It’s a nice camper if you go tent camping. You’ll have to bring your own cook top or grill or grittle. No toilet and or shower. Thank you so much Matt and Wil.
I have one of these, the outside bracket on the right side is for the grill. The camper comes with a small folding table. BTW it has a outside shower, kind of seems like a lazy review.
@@HerrP58 Yes, the good think about this camper is that you can stand up in it. Makes it easy to get dressed. It comes with a "add a room" addition that connects to the back of the pop-up.
Big differences from the first year (2019) model and this one. It's much heavier and more expensive. Some of the improvements are good but these are designed to sleep in, change your clothes in and transport your gear in. If you prefer to spend more time outdoors than in this is a good trailer.
Wow....you just phoned this one in. There was a toilet in the storage compartment. And a grill or cooktop in the box on the bed, that connects on the rail outside. You seem to be losing your attention to detail.
Why put in a sink let alone one with a hot water heater? Love the idea of a convertible with a good A/C but don’t understand including a sink but no toilet
Can I ask a question about the pop up fabric. One, is the fabric fully attached to side wall compared to the earlier models that you had to Velcro in place. Second, how water resistant/durable is the fabric in rainy weather situations. I have heard some mix views but overall it has been on the positive side. Lastly, basic care of the fabric from general use and when it has been rained on. Again I have heard people say soap/water to clean and also some have use stochguard to the fabric to repell the water. I can get general cleaning to care for fabric but a bit concern about mold build up when pop up extension in closed up. Really like this camper and would be my first. So I just want to care for it correctly. Appreciate your time and feedback. Jessica 😊
Trailers like these are part of why I despise those "basically a bed with a TV and *maybe* an AC unit" trailers that are over $10k. These are still lightweight, but still have features. That said, the one showcased could have had more features designed in quite easily for not a lot of extra money. The electric cooler is fine, but it's not really setup in an optimal way. I'd put it by the sink and have a single-burner cooktop and counterspace above it. With that adjustment, it'd be a fairly functional kitchen. The side that originally had the cooler would work better as the space for a shower/bathroom space that can be curtained off to keep water from splashing all over the place. Just connect a hose at the sink area, uncover a drain built into the floor, and deploy the curtain to be able to shower. I'd also add a pull-out tabletop to that drawer unit on the side the cooler was originally on so the space so the occupant could setup a laptop to do some work or watch a movie in relative comfort.
Loved the review, could love the price....has a Thetford Portapotty. Outdoor shower and a plug for my coffee pot.. i want one. Matt. Do I have to go to Florida ?
They're 12gs around me. How much cheaper can you get. If you build one on your own it's going to be 5k just for materials. That's not including tools (if you have none) you could end up close to 8 to 10. That's counting on you having the room to build one. For people who can't build one. This is the ultimate bargin
Dear Coachmen, You were so close to having this be the perfect pop-up/teardrop/off-road/multi-purpose camper. You should remove the roof top AC and put a wall unit in at the rear next to the door. "Why" you ask? By doing so you can match what many other off road teardrops have. On that flat area you can add a rooftop tent. BAMM! You can sleep two more people. Dislikes: #1 The rounded fenders. The fenders should have been half an octagon so that the tops are flat for a stepping location. #2 Again I think that AC should be next to the door. That one will freeze you out if you are less than ten inches under it. #3 Agreed, a small two burner cook top. Even if they don't do a microwave. If it's raining and you can't do an outside grill. You gotta eat. Likes: #1 It's set up in less than 30 seconds. (That's why I love A Frames too.) #2 Virtually any vehicle can tow this. (Always check your specs and do the math.) #3 Versatile. I'm sure there are a plethora of attachments for increasing your footprint. Awnings, tents, etc.
I agree. As a side note, I have the 2020 version of this camper and it’s a bit different. Doesn’t have aluminum siding and is 400 pounds lighter. Just like you suggested, the AC is a box unit by the door and it has a mini fridge instead of the electric cooler.
I agree, a cassette toilet would be great addition. The cooler is under a table and could be used as a seat for eating on a rainy day. Comment about a cooktop, you said the had a propane quick connect on outside of trailer, how do you know if they included a griddle or two burner cook top in pass thru storage for your cooking. Worth finding out that info before you add that as a dislike! Maybe do a little more research on units before you make a video???

Yes. It has a toilet. I’ve seen this unit. It’s very towable for a small car.
It is a cassette toilet, and you access that storage area by lifting the bed up.
Yes, I have this version. The toilet is under the bed
Also under the bed is the grill. It attaches outside
Was that a cassette toilet in the under-the-bed storage/pass-thru? If so, does it come with the unit?
Yes and it comes with it. It's a Thetford Porta potti. Not sure which model.
