  • This little camper is awesome! It's rugged, it sleeps a family of 4, and it allows you to get to all the great tenting sites! Want an RV that doesn't feel like an RV, but instead lets you be a camper? This might be it!

    Thank you so much for making these videos. My vehicle tows 3500lbs and no one makes videos on trailers that I can tow and I really appreciate you mentioning how much they weigh. Please do make more!

    Subscribed for your motorbike reviews, but have been binging your camper trailer reviews. I'm not in the market and live in Australia, but your review style is so good that they are enjoyable to watch.

    This would be perfect for my Jeep to pull, do national forest and off grid camping mainly

    Looks cool. I'd be interested if it allows the bed to fold up for more room inside (or removed). How strong are the doors for security on these campers and RVs? Are the door knobs and doors safe in general? Thanks, nice review.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  9 месяцев назад +4

      There doors are as secure as I would need. Think about where these campers are going to be popular... Near tenting sites... They're far more secure than a tent. 😉👍

    Absolutely best review of this model I have seen so far! I am looking at the 12.0 TD MAX and no body can give me any strait answers to which warranty covers it. I picked up a brochure and on the last page they say it falls under their "Tent Warranty" which is much better than their "Towable Warranty". When I called the manufacture, they said it has a one year warranty just like all of their towables. Which one is it?

    if it had solid fold up sides similar to Aliner this would be awsome trailer.

    I loved this trailer when it first came out. Went to buy it, but the tenting had been changed. Used to have a nice panorama when sitting inside, but raised the side walls and now view is obstructed. Also, got rid of the side mounted AC, which is EASY to replace

      There are a number of different floor plans of this trailer. I'm wondering if the one you were in was a different one. There are definitely still some models with the side air conditioner, and I think I understand what you're saying about the tenting, but again, it feels different to me in various floor plans.

    Since I don't have a lot of room to navigate backing a trailer into my garage, I found your comment in the Aliner review about how easy it is to move around after being unhooked from the tow vehicle interesting. I see this doesn't have a wheel on the hitch jack. Can this one be rolled around by one or two people after its unhooked?

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  8 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely. You can add a wheel to the jack and it's very similar to move over smooth ground. Great question!

    does it fit in a standard garage?

  • @herrtomas6729
    @herrtomas6729 9 месяцев назад +4

    That’s quite interesting. Will an EV tow it where they can’t tow a real big van?
    We had a 6m twin axle caravan years ago. Too heavy for some of our newer vehicles.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  9 месяцев назад +4

      This one weighs under 2300 lbs, so my Tesla could tow it. Towing with EV's is still a battle with range. This would have been perfect with my Jeep Wrangler 4XE PHEV.

    5:46pm Clipper . First time gas heat is ran it burns off a smell..the alarm goes off. You need to test the furnace and let run awhile with nobody in camper. Toxic fumes.

    Wish you would talk more about batteries and capacity.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  9 месяцев назад +3

      Ok. This one would come with a standard battery typical of many units. I wouldn't say the solar system on this is a key differentiator of this model, but I can definitely dig into that and talk about it on camera more in the future.

      @@PeterLoweOne Thanks, super helpful as the style of campers you are reviewing are geared towards that occasional off-grid type of camping w/o power hookups.

    Great video walk through on this little guy Pete! While its not my cup of tea ( I "RV" more than "camp") I do like seeing what is out there. One thing I'd ask, please don't point in front of your camera. It makes it focus on your hand and blurs the background you're trying to film. Keep up the walk throughs, I like how you go over everything!

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  8 месяцев назад +2

      I hear what you say about the camera focusing on my hand, but that is something that I find is important to do in some of my videos. I think the bigger key is to make sure I make enough time for the camera to re-focus, and to make sure I give the viewer time to properly see what I'm trying to show.

      @@PeterLoweOne I get that, just saying it is a bit distracting if you have to squint like you have had a few pints! LOL. Thanks for answering back. I look forward to more video walk throughs with you!

    AC looks like it gets in the way of the roof rack usefulness.
    Sloped roof, make the entire roof not usable.
    Putting the roof down, as you sleep to catch better heat, is not a selling feature...
    Will the price make this competitive? Dunno.

    You didn't cover the powered roof lift. Is there an inside control or switch to lower it while inside?

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  3 месяца назад

      I was pretty sure I did cover it. Yes, there's a button inside to power it up. On the smaller units, it can be done manually.

      Up to date pricing can be found in the link in the description. I almost never post prices because they can change. Using the link is the best way to be sure that you're getting the most accurate price at the time you're watching the video, and not at the time that I've filmed it.
