I have the same type of laptop. For normal use like google or using Microsoft (not multitasking using 1-3 app at a time) can last up to 4-5 hours depend on what your doing, if gaming like league of legends(max settings with 80 fps cap) can last 1-2 hours.

That noise is because under load while gaming, the fans can reach upto 4000-5000 rpm and 7000 rpm on turbo mode. No problem at all
