    could you please illustrate the three phase rotor winding via diagram ,how only two wires came out instead of eight because it is four pole rotor
    Is it in series connection ?

      Hi, this rotor has four pole and all wires of 4 poles are connected in series so in the end only 2 wire we have...because only DC supply we need to give to this rotor. This is not a 3 phase rotor actually generator stator has setup for 3 phase output supply

    Why we have to provide dc supply to rotor instead of ac supply

      Good Question. actually in the rotor, we need to make constant flux that is why we provide DC. If we give AC so rotor field will be fluctuating and we no need fluctuating field because rotor is already rotating on its rated speed.

      W,salam Crank k time sensing voltage nhi chahye hotay jab tak engine starting postion me na ajaye. Jab start hojayega to phir 5 volt se bhi kaam shuru krdega AVR.
