I've seen people talk about the comic before and I definitely believe that it could work with the rebooted version, especially since in the original MW2, you don't really get that hint that he had a traumatic childhood or something traumatic happened to him, before the comic released, he could have been a guy that simply wore a mask because he thought it was cool. But the rebooted Ghost just seems to be mentally damaged, both with how he acts and what he says. When I say 'mentally damaged' I don't mean it as an insult but just simple fact that this Ghost has seen some f-ed up stuff and you can tell. Perhaps even has bit of a split personality disorder when Price refers to him as 'Simon' when he takes his mask off in MW2, now sure it could have been bit of a joke, but maybe not, sure I think he's called Simon in MW3 (not 100% on that), but I do think that the mask might have something to do with him mentally rather than just to hide his identity and as a tactic to scare the enemy, like perhaps once he takes off the mask, he's a completely different person but once that mask is put on again, Ghost returns. I also like what the original voice actor for the rebooted Ghost in MW2019 said about him, about how a guy who wears a mask like that has to be messed up in the head and I agree with him.
I’ve always liked the mysterious aura of Ghost from the OG MW2. Now I have to wonder though with what you’re asking for at the end, what will be the primary focus for CoD MW campaigns?? Will it be for character development or for a good story? I’ll be honest, I’d prefer the good story over getting to know every single one of the characters because the story would never end or make sense
Ghost is always a fan favorite! I do love the reboot design more than the original since he had a cool mask but they made him taller, more muscular and stealthy for someone his size
Ghost's Comic Backstory is Just GOATED Man(Correct me if i am Wrong but is he the only one that got A Comic Backstory or is there some Others Characters That Got One themselves?)
I think the comic fits with the rebooted version. There's some really messed up stuff that happened and not just from his father. I would like if they made a comic for Price, Gaz and Soap as well. Especially Soap, as he's my favorite.
My gta verse lore on Simon “Ghost” Riley. Simon Riley was rather born in Eduarda. An Antarctic nation formerly named Oceania. Like 1984 setting. But this Oceania used to be fascist and then had a revolution and turned democratic. Simon’s early life was because of his country’s socioeconomic and political system. That made his father abuse him and his sibling and cheat on his mother. Even Simon endured his father’s abusive attics. But his upbringing would build the character within him. Even when Oceania was renamed Eduarda. Also because of the Bojinka terror attacks, Simon has some ambitions to join the military to fight terrorism. He had some anti social behavior inbedded within him. But despite that. He still had mates. Even one operation had made mates with American soldiers and these soldiers would definitely head to Val Verde. A former dictatorship, war zone and now narco state. Unfortunately, his interference with an American soldier hitting a Val verdean local caused some problems with the Americans in Val Verde that it has Simon looking at the soldiers behaviors. Even see the anti social mentality of theirs. Soon it’s revealed that there’s some corruption within the us army in Val verde. That these us soldiers work with El Gordo. An infamous drug lord of the country. And his reign spans beyond Val Verde. Even has connections with San Sombrero drug cartels. And said to have a secret weapon that made the us army interested in working with El Gordo. And he was captured and taken prisoner. But despite being left for dead in a coffin with a dead body, Riley escaped and returned to Eduarda. But his escape would get his soldiers to hunt and kill Riley. But instead they twist the plan to kill his family and frame him. Making him a prey to hunt down. The soldiers kill his family and burn Riley’s house down. With no choice, Riley must fake his death and avoid authorities capturing him. He discovers that his friend was paid off by El Gordo. And with that betrayal, he decides to don the old ghost mask from his childhood and hunt down the traitors and El Gordo. He kills the us soldiers. And when he heads towards El Gordo’s villa. Riley discovers that some soldiers were being tied up and being brainwashed. The numbers program seem to be how El Gordo became the most powerful drug lord in the country. And decides to destroy his drug empire with guerilla warfare. With his henchmen dead. Simon Riley faces El Gordo and Gordo wasn’t a fat drug lord but a former soldier himself. He had Russian army soldiers training him to be capable of killing a man. El Gordo uses his weapons to stop Riley. But Riley gets the best of him. Kills El Gordo and burns his villa. El Gordo’s last words were: you really are a Ghost Englishman. El Gordo nicknames Simon: Ghost. As Ghost. He takes a new chapter in his life. Finding a journey in soldiering. But as Ghost from here on out. Mid credits: a child sees the villa burning and sees El Gordo dying saying Ghost killed me son. El Gordo dies by his wounds and the kid would find ghost. Even if it takes years.

I would love if they made a Ghost reboot and if it goes through the life of Ghost and when his closest allies get killed he inspires a new generation of Ghost
@@LoganWalkerTheGhost Both, So my Idea is that just like in the original Ghosts campaign there is the opening mission where a ton of them die, and Simon “Ghost” Reily is the only one who survives, and then so it inspires a generation of soldiers who call themselves “Ghosts” and then we go through a process where the “Ghosts” hunt down those responsible for the deaths of their comrades, basically turning the Ghosts into the Modern Warfare universe because the original is a stand alone.
@@tjboylan20 This universe could have Logan or Keegan and Merrick too because if you reboot something that says you should keep it but modify it like rorke for example, The problem with the staff is that their theories don't make much sense a new Ghost Team Without Hesh or Elias? @carlthegamerx1186 I'm not sure maybe Captain Price or Commander Graves in terms of modern warfare
Those are some awesome Modern warfare characters also I think in the next modern warfare commander graves will team up with task force 141
Soap is best
It might be intentional that this new ghost has next to no story, so he’s truly a Ghost
