It’s just sorta going with the trends or atleast doing everything to keep up, personally I’d like to see cods release every 2 years maybe something like a New Cod for year 1 a remastered for year 2 and a new cod for year 3… etc I think it would give devs a lot more time to work on the game and feel finish rather than releasing all buggy the remasters can be done by different studios outside the 3 main studios, and Activision would make tons of money so :P regardless this series since I’d say COD WW2 has been at a creative decline this is for all the modes yeah zombies has had some good content but I still think because of all the AI controversy I don’t see that lasting for too long ):
Where is COD going at this point? Who cares. It's been fun but derivative for some years now. COD MW has been the first 3 games and then the first 3 games remade again. COD BO had a great chance to make an interesting, long-running, clever, historical, x-files style, conspiracy based story. It missed it with BO2. As it is, it's not hard to see where COD is going. They could easily drop everything and just start again and there would be no harm done to COD. This is because there's been nothing special about it since COD BO1 was released.

Well better they keep up with futuristic and modern warfare and black ops titles/series Because no one wants any ww2 game anymore because its outdated and people had enough with it and don't want it anymore because its old and outdated. Just look at cod vanguard
I agree with you on ww2 cods but I’m sorry after multiple MW & BO games we need a major break from those era of cods. I would love to see another futuristic cod there is only so much you can do with the MW, BO

i miss it when cod used to do it's own thing or had it's own sub series from each dev instead of it all being a connected universe.
