bro I was lucky to find out that there are guys selling those forks in my country, even more to that they are selling them reinforced and in anodized gold color, set to the ebike + rider weight 💪💪
I changed it after the video once the bike got cleaned up, I routed it this way due to the fact my brake cable has a small split on it which was taped over temporarily and bending it the opposite way would have made it worse. I changed the cable and routing the following day 👍🏻 Thanks for watching and good eagle eyes 👀
I have tried that combination, i still have the EXT ARMA MX shock on both my two bikes but the ferro forks didnt feel as good as the 60lb 2.0 fast aces, I found them to have less small bump compliance, similar heavy impact absorption but they also looked way too thin on the bike and had a touch more deflection than the fast ace. I know they will probably last a bit longer between rebuilds but for me the fast ace do feel better! For trail and enduro style use on initial riding the fast ace win for me - we will see how they hold up! My riding group also agree with me!!! I tested them a few months back one of the first sets in the UK 👍🏻 Thanks for watching. I didn’t believe it either until I tried them !
@@stingyrogerr heard all great things about them and fastace they’re great in the pit bike world👌🏼 I stand by ext because they are built & designed for these bikes specifically all the other parts are kinda retro fitted mountain bike parts
@TheRuckusBoyz you make a valid point. I was sceptical until I felt these! Theres more adjustment on the ferro’s thats for sure! Ferro’s also win for build materials but even looking at the construction on the 2.0 fast aces - they could probably retail them at $1000 and still be good value! - I think the retailers have to make the ferro’s sound and look way ahead of these to sell them onto people who already dropped their $2000+ on fox 40’s 2 years ago 💔 Thanks for the comment i really appreciate and value multiple outlooks!
@2bebetter good to know! Maybe try to sell them and grab some fast ace’s you will not be disappointed! I’m a suspension nerd and I can assure you will be happy! 👍🏻
Hell yeah! Mine had dnm when I got it from the factory! The fast ace are a massive upgrade, and so is their revalved shock! If you click the link in the description and use the discount code ‘@stingyrogerr’ you should save yourself a good amount! I preferred the fast ace 2.0 to even my fox 40’s and my brother bought a set too after trying mine!
@jacobcuijpers702 im currently working on a new crown set with my buddy with a cnc shop to space the fork legs apart and also have a drop crown for geometry - so stay tuned for that video!
@@stingyrogerrnice.. did you had both the chambers setup good on the ext when you tried it? Also nice video the last one. Wish i had some friends who own surrons. I'm all by myself blasting through the woods 🥲😂
@jacobcuijpers702 yes they were set up properly, they felt okay but not great for trails i think more suited to big jumps and impacts! For trails like I ride fast ace feel better to me
@Jagi603 i weight less than you. You have 8 adjustments for firmness on thedial on top also, I ran mine half way at no.4 at 90kg + they would be on 6/7/8 setting
@Jagi603 no. The seals dont blow if you have the heavier spring rate, only on the 38lb non progressive version from constant bottoming out. They feel great as they are i think partly a marketing scheme for retailers to make more money by ‘tuning’ them
Yeah buddy it would be perfect for you! Anyone over 120 needs the 60lb spring! The adjuster wheel on the top of the fork means you can soften it up a lot more than you think or stiffen it a load for jumps - you’ll find your setting with the 60lb spring, i weigh similar to you! 👍🏻👊🏻🤘🏻
@brandonanderson8010 not on the firm setting on the top dial. I ride it almost fully soft ! When I put it on setting 8 they barely compress with my weight!
Hey man! It’s Just the 60lb! Definitely get the 60lb and not progressive - save 10% with my code too which is good - this fork’s a bargain for the performance
For an mostly increase in acceleration and small 5mph increase in top speed the controller snd battery will do this. Unfortunately with mx4 the motor has low kv rating and peak rpm (8100) so you will need to upgrade the motor for any speed over 58mph. Mine is mx3 so just battery and controller get me over 70mph as my mx3 motor better than mx4 motor
No i am not being paid - they just sent me the fork to test 👍🏻 I was very shocked how good it is considering my other forks were £1400 and these feel better

Fix your front break cable it’s not supposed to be on the outside of the fork

where should i be ? along the inside of the fork ?
@@drunkmanjackson2742 personal preference I know a lot of people prefer them on the outside

EXT Ferro forks & EXT Arma mx shock 🙌🏻 you’ll have the best feeling talaria or surron out there

I have the ext ferro shocks and I have to constantly put air back in them. 100% regret buying them.

Nice fork but fox40 just look the bollocks especially with orange lowers, and then ya want fox orange 🍊 rear spring 🤠🇬🇧
I have Dmn forks on my Sting is it worth getting the fast ace? And what should i get for the back shock?

@@stingyrogerr yeah dnm is trash so i will getting these, way cheaper than ext as well. Maby i buy a ext rear shock
What size is your front wheel? I heard some people with problems fitting the tyre between the fork. I have a 80/100 21" in the front.
70/100-19 mx33 bro! Its really snug fit on the forks yeah!

Im 75Kg and ride offroad trails with bigger jumps but also on the street, should i get the 50 or 60 spring?
Definitely the 60 or 38-60. The 50 will be too light 👍🏻

Hi, I dont think I will get a reply, but is the 60lbs spring good if my body weight is 132? I feel like that would be too heavy, but idk...
