What's funny is he points out the Browns game when the 2 worse performing people in the OL in that game (Villanueva and Pouncey) are both gone. Steelers still have Kevin Dotson who was phenomenal in the Broncos game (which also coincidentally also had the longest run) David Decastro is one of the better guards who has admittedly slightly degressed, and Zach Banner/Okarafor who are both solid OT but unfortunately Banner suffered an ACL tear in the first game. I'm not worried one bit, once we get one of the Centers to fall into our lap at the 55th pick everything is looking good. Use the later picks to use as a OL depth help as well as 2 fourth round picks that can be used to help our CB/LB depth

As a Lions fan watching the draft, I'm super hyped. Sewell, along with Ragnow, are going to be a brick wall of protection for Goff. Now, we need to get a WR in the second round
The Lions getting Sewell is so huge for Goff to be able to do anything. As a Rams fan, Jared's best years were behind an O-Line that kept the pressure off him, and Goff has a tendency to fumble if he's hit at the back of his motion, so T is the best way to minimise his issues. Super happy and I hope Jared can have a good year.
"At least he's fast..." was my fav comment of last night. Really liked the pick for the Lions and I also thought the Payton Turner pick was a bit of a reach that early in the draft.
I was jumping for joy when the Vikings traded back and darrisaw was on the board for the raiders. Then I started drinking trying to rationalize the pick.
The Vikings trading from 14 to 23, still getting Darrisaw at 23 & turning the 2 extra picks into Kellen Mond & Wyatt Davis... That has the potential to be one of the best draft day trades in NFL history

@@16ktsgamma they don't really need one. They're a complete team with good coaching. The Texans could have every 1st round pick of this year's draft and they'd still suck.
Here’s what I think of the Patrick Surtain pick: We really improved our secondary with the signing of Ronald Darby and Kyle Fuller plus bringing back Justin Simmons and Kareem Jackson. With those guys and Bryce Callahan, we look like we have one of the best secondaries. But Darby and Callahan have injury history. Surtain could be a starter but ready to fill in any spot. I felt uncomfortable with possibly Micah Parsons because of his off field behavior. And I would like to give Drew Lock one more year with competition from Teddy Bridgewater. If he does bad, get a new QB next year. Overall, I think the Surtain pick was not bad.

I wouldn't expect you to know this but the pick for the Saints was actually a BPA situation. The remaining CB's and LB's that really fit the scheme are 2nd round at best. We have 3 picks in the 2nd and 3rd round and will likely trade up to fill at least one of those roles. It has also been confirmed that the Saints tried to trade up twice for CB but both of the teams they were in talks with wanted too much. They really wanted Horn for example but Denver wanted 2 firsts, 2 seconds and a third. WAY too much to give up for a CB.
