Impressive @BeardBear your walkthrough is genius try to solve many hiden npc mystery and found many hiden items, I saw many walkthrough for this game, and it many videos want to finish the game asap, I mean the hack they are doin, and ignore so many hiden things.
I can't wait to get my hands on Shield by time I'll get the Switch. I'm a Gen 1 veteran, but I have not gotten any new Pokémon game since Gen 3, with Gale of Darkness, so, this is a nice opportunity to see how much things have changed since.
@에바 리 What story? You just go from one gym to the next. There really isn't much of a story here. If you don't like catching pokemons, or fighting pokemons, you'll be really bored by this game. And to be honest, even that aspect is... Meh. The animations are dirt poor, and the fighting is waaaay too easy. I've stopped bothering to upgrade anything, because the pokemon I STARTED with, basically kills everyone with one shot :P I know it's a children's game, but even when I was a child, the games we played were far more challenging. I'm curious about the new one though, which is apparently very inspired by Breath of The Wild... One of the best games I have ever played. The new Pokemon game isn't supposed to be anywhere near as good, but it takes a lot from it, apparently. Just doesn't execute it as well. Some of the graphics look really bad though. Especially from a distance! The animations looks like something from decades ago.

18 hours to finish the game and post game.............. on average all the other games were about 30 hours........ This game isn't worth 60 bucks. BoW was about 100+ easily. Astral Chain was 45+. FE: Three Houses was 100+. The Dragon Quest 11 Demo is 2/3 of this game's size-and the demo was free. It may be seen nitpicking, but there's a standard for Nintendo's own first-party games...
@@coltonk5 I mean sure, compared to the 3DS games, it's a step above. But don't you want a better presentation then what this game offers? Wouldn't it be insane if gamefreak went the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 route? The dev's of that game made everything borderline open world, and the art style is very fitting for pokemon in terms of character designs and monster. All 250+ monsters we're also fully animated and built from scratch and it looks phenomenal. And the game was 200+ hours. The graphics of Sw/Sh consist of N64 trees.

I haven’t played either Let’s go or Sword/Shield, but whenever I want to buy a Pokémon game I always think to myself; “If this didn’t have the “pokemon” name, would I buy it?” And to S/S, my answer is no. In my opinion, I don’t think the Pokémon are at all as interesting as the ones in Alola. Gen 7 has got to be my favorite generation.
The pokemon sword and shield walkthrough is Very different and much improved then the older generations pokemon walkthroughs it's like watching a movie without any voices. 😄
@@christopher399 Pokemon story never was a thing. It was always a mess full of plotholes, since the very first titles. You play Pokemon to catch pokemons and battle. And these games work just fine in that regard.

I appreciate the Pokemon franchise exploring new territory and all (on all levels), but I can't help but feel as though they need not necessarily launch 'new' pokemon with every installment. I think we have PLENTY of pokemon to play with. Why not concentrate and focus on pokemon movements / animation, their sound effects and story lines. I feel like the incessant need to create more and more pokemon not only makes their character designs less unique and takes up valuable resources from the developers in mastering animations / characteristic movements and compelling storytelling. I adore Pokemon and always will--just want to appreciate more what we've already to play with and enjoy how many of us have stuck with this wonderful world for half a lifetime! By all means, expand the poke-universe; just suggesting we savor what's already evolved rather than 'turning-and-burning' new monsters every launch season.
I honestly thought this guy had some kind of cheat on this seemed so easy. But I also haven't paid pokemon since emerald green or diamond. But it should re gain some of the difficulty and the storyline is a bland compared to the team rocket days

I got this game in December 2019 on the Nintendo Switch, I loved the game so much because it felt like the best animated game before Pokémon legends: Arceus.
It’s unfortunate because most of the mainline Nintendo games, like Mario and Pokémon rarely ever go on sale, they know most people will probably still buy the games at full price. Only time where I think they maybe go on sale is Black Friday and cyber Monday
@@dustinmorton6336 Believe me they will not implement the National dex. They even said that in further games you will not have a National dex too. However there are many other issues. Pokemon was long known for the consistent things, the fans wanted anything but the developers didn't do anything. Hard mode? Yes, but only in one game. Pokemon following you? Yes but only in very few games. More Megas? No. A good story? No. Good post content? No. Instead you have a gimmick every generation. The bad things started at X and Y and get worser when a new game came out. But this was not a big issue for a lot of people due to Hardware limitations. But now they have the most strongest Hardware and they cut things and the graphics and animations are pretty low. Just compare "A link between two worlds" to "Pokemon X and Y" and then compare "Breath of the Wild" to these games. You can clearly see how much Zelda improved while the Pokemon games get even worse

I don't understand why Hop would choose a starter Pokémon that would be susceptible to certain Element Attributes, despite having basic knowledge on Pokémon, their moves, their Element Attributes and their advantages/disadvantages towards certain Element Attributes and then ask his brother to let him take on the Pokémon Gym after easily losing to his rival (with the Starter Pokémon he used).
If have to answer that question from Hop's character perspective i would say: It's because he wanted that starter and that's all. As easy as that. It doesn't matter if he won or lose 1 fight. For instance, if someone picks charmander in kanto they know it will be almost usless the first two gyms. Would that person care about that fact? No, because its their fav, and you can apply this to any other starter and region. Edit: This is just a dumb thought i had but what if in the case the player chooses grooky then Hop picks sobble because it's strong against his brother's charizard?

Btw pro tip: If u have diffuclites leveling up your pokemon , fight dynamax pokemon , the battles will give you exp candies which u can use to level ur pokemon
I feel like game freak in the future should bring back version exclusive gym leaders. Since it’s such a neat concept and was executed as I anticipated.

Based on the reviews I was kind of iffy about getting this game, and then watching you play it I got really interested. Until the camping set and pokemon box link were revealed, I get they are optional to use, but why make one of the easier pokemon games even easier then it previously was. Just irks me for some reason. Oh well at least I can watch you play it
To be fair, depositing your Pokemon in a box no longer heals them. Your boxed Pokemon will be healed at the same time as those you're currently using when speaking with a nurse at a Pokemon Center.
This was really great, I'm definitely going to buy Pokémon sword and shield for the Nintendo switch. I also really liked all of the towns and the new pokemon.😍
I beat the game in 11 hours on my first playthrough. The game is so easy for me even though I was a bit overleveled. Leon was unexpectedly hard but I still beat him.

Btw pro tip: If u have diffuclites leveling up your pokemon , fight dynamax pokemon , the battles will give you exp candies which u can use to level ur pokemon

Based on the reviews I was kind of iffy about getting this game, and then watching you play it I got really interested. Until the camping set and pokemon box link were revealed, I get they are optional to use, but why make one of the easier pokemon games even easier then it previously was. Just irks me for some reason. Oh well at least I can watch you play it
To be fair, depositing your Pokemon in a box no longer heals them. Your boxed Pokemon will be healed at the same time as those you're currently using when speaking with a nurse at a Pokemon Center.

I beat the game in 11 hours on my first playthrough. The game is so easy for me even though I was a bit overleveled. Leon was unexpectedly hard but I still beat him.
