This is insanely masterful musicianship! On a crazily talented level. Each musician is a virtuoso, on a Juliard level. It can be difficult for some people to actually get it, due to the complexity.

For me, the first time I heard this song and watched this video I immediately recognized the genre hopping as intentionally expansive and melodically complimentary to the overriding djent metal groove. I see no element of this track as being ‘all over the place’ or even random. On the contrary, the blending of musical styles, the complexity of the composition, the amazing vocals, tight drumming, driving bass and guitar playing, and the humor of the video makes this perhaps the most enjoyable music video I’ve ever seen. These guys rule and rate a solid 10 outta’ 10 in my book!!!

There is a lot to process here, it really needs more than one watch. They are really talented, do what they want and don't take themselves seriously (their videos are always fun). I think Mat at least would really enjoy their song/video 'Sick'.
This band doesn’t release a bad song. They take their music seriously, but go ridiculous with their videos. They’re like a modern Mr. Bungle and Faith No More. They’re masters of genre blending. They have more “normal” songs. “Kingdom” is a fave of mine, personally.

The band like to experiment with styles and sounds...a bit of jazz, a bit if lounge, a bit if djent... One of the lrad singers favourite artists is Mike Parton, which is obvious in his style of tone and delivery being similar to Mr Bungle, as well as the free form combination of styles feeling similar in influence.
As many have said they have some less crazy tracks where the genre fusing is more smooth & less abrupt or sudden haha. Fantastic band though, They're last 2 records are full of great tunes throughout & they also did a really cool acoustic performance with metal injection a few months back which has like 0 reactions (it deserves some IMO haha)
What if a twelve foot ninja isnt referring to his height, but the number of his feet? Also say the word "Marshall" without the M, and try to understand that joke again with the pocket amp.
