Thanks for featuring these three! I have handled a Rubato 1 - all Rubatos are very different knives. Strange naming scheme from OKnife there. The Pyrite is the Pyrite. I've been warming up to premium handles on budget-ish steel blades for the premium experience. The Civivi took me by surprise! GTC design language is iconic.
I finally jumped on the pyrite bandwagon and lives up to the hype. Also just snagged the hypersonic and it is super snappy. Its beefy but has amazing action.
@mikereese15 me too. I can't help but think the blade shape was originally design to accommodate a dual/compound grind though..that would have been next level
@@RollshamboGTC loves multiple/compound grinds mixed with very striking blade shapes, so I’m sure that’s where he was headed if the budget had been larger, haha.
@Stahlwerk88 absolutely..WE is about to release one of his designs that has that and it looks fantastic with a spring loaded flipper tab...I'm drooling..a bit
I think the Pyrite get talked about too much. It’s definitely getting plenty of attention. Also, I think a budget knife falls at $75 and below. There are tons of options in that price range.
Regular pyrite sure..I was talking specifically about the project perfect pyrite enthusiast as there's not as much talk about that one and the titanium does improve greatly on prior handle materials
I feel the market was flooded with new knives this year. Anyone else having trouble keeping up?.....and don't take this comment as negative. This is a good problem. I think we are in a Golden Age of knives. And being 56 years young, I'm thankful for being retired and having expendable cash😊
Its a looker, that Rubato. The Pyrite Enthusiast, a classic? Already sold out. CIVIVI GTC Hypersonic just does not speak to me, even tho its a great budget steel, 14C28N and has a cool clip.
2023 is the year of the knife. A bunch of great deals made with great materials.
You can always count on the connoisseur of all things sharp and shiny to give us the run down on the latest and greatest!

The Rubato 2 with micarta and sheeps foot is a banger too. Kizer is the OEM I believe
Thanks for bringing them to us 👊
Great vid bro. I just got the Nine in magnacut and it should be here tomorrow. I’ll let you know
Another excellent vid Bo-man!....Stay sharp and shiny!

I think some people are turned off by the design language on the hypersonic but that's because they don't know about GTC yet😂
@@Rollshambo Thats actually what drove me towards it. 😆 I dig it!

I would agree..there was no keeping up with everything this year..I did my best too and it still wasn't even close😂
