A game like this is why I proposed on the BAR discord an option to have multiple players play as a single team, assigning each of them to specific unit-types, such as constructors/commander, air, land, etc. It would mean you'd have a dedicated player for base-building & eco, while others would do nothing but micro unit comps and battlefield movement. I think it'd be super fun.
@@pcbona Very similar, yeah. In Archon, I believe both players can control everything. I was envisioning players only having control of specific unit types -- which forces team coordination. But either/both could work.
@@The-BCM i think archon mode always has two players controlling one race. One player is in charge of eco (and building units) and the other player controlls all units except from the workers...
@@pcbona Unless they significantly changed it since I last played it, then not quite. Both players can control all their units. This can result in players giving conflicting orders if they don't coordinate properly.

Epic game! I think the blue player was under utilized. maybe he should have changed tac and gone poking on the perimeter trying to leak and raid. But i guess they got the win anyway.
seeing the cursors of the players dont add value to the replay, its just makes the whole scene nervous and hard to watch. your casts would be much better without them, please turn it off.

That last bomber was an absolute hero, it never gave up despite unbeatable odds. If only it lived to see just how close it was to victory ;-;

Because it literally is a TA port to a new engine. BAR is basically the newest version of Balanced Annihilation/Absolute Annihilation/Uberhack mod
BAR is one of TA's many, many, many children.
Air micro was so eye-pokingly terrible.
