Though I am a Whitecaps fan, I am happy to see CPL teams doing well. Vancouver will need to bring their A game if they want to repeat as champions. Cavalry and Forge are consistently good in the CPL. I hope Vancouver FC can continue to improve.

Very interesting match, and a tip of the cap to Cavalry for winning an away match vs an MLS club!
On a side note, thank you to OneSoccer for not putting the result in the title of the video. I've noticed other leagues that do that very thing (Scottish football for one).

@@ext.warranty6161 What they mean is that nobody gives a shit about the Whitecaps, to the degree that most people don't even know this was the second leg of a 2-game semi-final that Vancouver advanced on a dumb tiebreak rule on. I was at the game because I didn't have anything else going on and just figured it would be fun to watch (it was) and while even I knew it was the 2nd leg, I was super confused when regular time ended and that was it. No extra time? What is this bullshit
Edit++ As an aside, it's insane the Whitecaps play at BC place. I've been to probably 5-6 games, including some critical "must win" ones pre-playoffs and the attendance is awful. The tickets are way to expensive for what the product is. They should be playing at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby and the seats would be packed. There's gotta be a better alternative than having 100 fans in a stadium built for 55k. I'm half depressed when I go to games I feel so bad for the players

@@SheldonT. it’s for many reasons but two of the main ones being the drama/entertainment aspect, if you look at a lot of European matches in the knockouts over the past 15/20 years, the away goal rule has created some unbelievable comebacks. It also discourages away teams sitting back and holding for a draw. Makes games far more entertaining instead of you parking the bus for a 0-0 and hoping to win it in the second leg at home, encourages attacking and positive football
