He is so right about cancers. That is the dark side of cancers. They do suffer from mental health issues only because they probably had dysfunctional relationships that hurt them.

I just broke up with my boyfriend because I couldn't stand him. He has SO MUCH cancer placements (sun, moon, rising, and mercury). We were friends for years, and everything was okay at that stage, but then he confessed his feelings for me, and I actually thought he was cute, so we started dating. Oh boy, it was a mistake..
He became obsessed with me, just like you said he was suffocating the hell out of me from the beginning of the relationship. If they like someone, they will enjoy the chase even if it becomes uncomfortable for the other person. Also, I knew he was secretive, but I thought that since we were dating, he would open up to me eventually... no, trying to get a direct answer from him was impossible. Cancers beat around the bush, and I find it so immature. I'm a Libra sun and moon with Leo rising, I want to solve things, talk openly, quick answers and move on, but he would stay fixed on every little detail and inconvenience, never letting it go but at the same time not wanting to address it properly. It gets so tiring. Cancers truly live in the past, he didn't want to do the healing from his childhood, he just wanted the self-pity.
You are also correct with all the nagging and constant mood swings. They can be such cry babies, the victims of the world. Cancer men are literally looking for a "second mom" that will take care of them every damn time they feel down (which is almost all the time). I couldn't deal with all that neediness.
But the biggest red flag was that he started to threaten with suicide when things got rough, he was saying I was the reason he was alive and that if I left he wouldn't have anyone to carry on, now that I look back, he was so emotionally manipulative. Fuck I'm gonna need therapy from this.
I'm a Cancerian INFJ so I'm the first to admit I'm a f**King nightmare but I *hope* I'm self aware enough now to have a regular spiritual & shadow work practice to keep myself under control! A relationship with a narcissistic Virgo crippled me severely but also forced me to do that deep dive work in to myself, that has ended up helping me become a more stable person in the long run.

And the place that we least want to look is the place that we need to go the most! Because we most likely haven't looked there yet! Also I have learnt that with relationships this is THE BIGGEST thing in cancerians lives! Break ups are particularly brutal for you guys. But don't let bitterness into your beautiful heart. INFP Cancarian Here! I think for many Cancers a Narcissist is the gate keeper to self discovery. If we can get passed them, it opens us to self awareness. I had a narcissistic mother and honestly I have no clue what the road would have looked like for me if I had not gotten to watch and feel her break the hearts of my family growing up. She will literally tell you she doesn't regret one thing in her life 🤣 It made me a better person than I probably would have been.
ENTP 7w8 [783] here (Born under Cancer Sun, Virgo Moon, Sagittarius Rising). I do correlations between personality typology and signs as well. Cancer would be an ESFJ, Enneagram type 2 and 6. ESFJ has dominant Fe (Extroverted Feeling) which focuses on group harmony, community, and what others think (Also can be a people-pleasing function). Auxiliary Si (Introverted Sensing) which focuses on how things worked in the past, past memories, details, routine, can have hypochondria, etc. Tertiary function is Ne (Extroverted Intuition) which focuses on brainstorming, ideas, outside the box solutions, etc. Inferior function is Ti (Introverted Thinking) which focuses on the internal frameworks of logic that adjusts according to new information and makes sense of it, wants to know how things work, independently thinks (Doesn't care what others think), etc. Enneagram type 2 which core desire is relationships, helping others, etc. Enneagram type 6 (The self preservation version) which core desire is safety and building communities and allies they stay loyal to, can focus on worst case scenarios, etc. As an ENTP myself, my cognitive functions are dominant Ne, auxiliary Ti, tertiary Fe, and inferior Si. My Enneagram type is the 7 (Sx/Sp) which core desire is to have fun, seek novelty/adventure, be happy, stimulated, content, etc. Core fear is being bored, limited, trapped, etc. The 8 wing is the demeanor for the core type (7), which makes them confident, self-assured, aggressive, direct/blunt, and bold (I could be an 8w7 instead of 7w8. I do can typed as 8w7 often on tests or often behave like an 8w7). My Tritype is the 783 (The Mover & Shaker), so the 8s core desire is being strong and avoiding vulnerability and being weak or seen as weak (I definitely hate being weak, which holds me back from things, being powerful and bringing strength to get what I want/desire). Type 3 core desire is achievement, competition, winning, being valued, worthwhile, successful, impressive, attractive, and being in the spotlight. Core fear of the 3 is being a failure, losing, unsuccessful, unimpressive, inefficient, worthless, etc (You can look up and research more traits of the types). For zodiac sign correlations for my typology is ENTP would be Gemini, Type 7 (Sx and Sp would be Gemini. (So subtype) would be Sagittarius, Sx could be Sagittarius as well). Type 8 is Aries (Possibly Leo in one of the subtypes) I have Sx/So subtype for the 8. Type 3 (I have So/Sx for type 3) is Leo for So and Sx (One of them could sound like Aries) and Sp would be Capricorn. So I have Gemini, Aries, and Leo for most fitting signs for me. I did cringe at a lot of traits described in the video since they were stupid and weird (Laughed at a lot of them). Plus they were irrelevant to me and for my life. Also ALL the signs have mood swings (I searched all 12 signs on Google and asked if they had mood swings and all 12 said "Yes"). Plus a lot of traits from the signs are usually the same (Almost like all the signs are the same with little to no difference between them). A lot of traits sounds like disorders and people will find them true and wear it like a badge of honor (Like mentioned in this video) and a lot of traits/descriptions are full of oxymorons so they can mention both opposite/contradictory traits so at least one of them will be true to someone (Like picking A, B, C, and D as your answer for a multiple choice test and telling you the answer is A and B, you would say that you were 100% correct and didn't make any errors and knew the answer. But if you did, you wouldn't have mentioned the incorrect ones) this is how the natal chart works as well (Like Sagittarius Rising being direct, disorganized, big-picture-oriented and adventurous, Cancer Sun is indirect, irrational, and a homebody, Virgo Moon is rational, organized, and detail-oriented (A lot of contradiction). There's always room for excuses to be wrong with contradictions/oxymorons to back it up (Although these planets mean different things and some wannabe pseudo-astrologers would act like they're the same and use different placements to compensate for one being inaccurate. If it's wrong, it's wrong, change the sign/placement to a more accurate one then. If one trait fits, doesn't mean the rest do, because there are other signs with the same trait and most likely fit the bill for that other sign/placement instead). I could go on, but if anyone wants a list of correlations I've made with Personality Typology like MBTI, Enneagram, and others correlated with the zodiac signs (Under WIP and open to change), do let me know!

My mom is a Cancer sun, moon, and mars. My childhood was traumatizing(Pluto in 4th).
Everyone had to cater to her shifting aggressiiveemotions. Non stop critizing her kids and.l bullying them. Non stop screaming. I couldn’t even walk into the kitchen without her critizing. We couldn’t even express ourselves.
She was suffocating and controlling. Invasive. Constant negativity- no positivity ever. Living with her was like walking on land mines every moment. I’m not even exaggerating. I had insomnia because the only time I had peace was at night when she slept. And yes psychotic. She should have been on meds but my Gemini sun libra moon dad was an enabler.

I have a cousin who's a Cancer. I'm not sure if I should trust him, I feel like he's really unstable, because he holds a lot of grudges. He's definitely a stalker and snoops around in everyone's business, and I don't like that.
Yes the dark cancers can be the biggest stalkers. Trust your inner feelings and listen to that if something doesn't feel right about him well then it probably isn't right. Cancerian's can do a lot of damage as they never let go and are quite sneaky and passive aggressive.

As a Cancerian I approve this video funny af! This is so damn accurate on our dark side its almost as if we were just obviously narc! I try to most of the times watch mood but in rare instances when I do get extreme it's because I react to my environment. if it's true or accurate but maybe because I do have Scorpio moon and lots of Scorpio placements in chart that might make my Dark/light sides slightly influenced. Yea, I have watched that as well. She tricks me, manipulates me, guilt trips me, eavesdrops whenever I'm on the phone, talks about me behind me and acts like a friend in my presence,gets reclusive whenever I confront her about something. My dad complained so much about her but we only saw his faults because he's a scorpio/sagittarius 18th Nov, he was more outspoken so we saw him as the troublesome one. Yes a sag and cancer not usually will work but would have to look at where your moon and venus is placed and where his are to, this well tell us more about the connection, its strengths and weaknesses. I am cancer and I do agree we are the most dangerous zodiac sign and I realised that many years ago when I hanging out with other cancerians - in really dislike them! I made a point to not be like that. It sucks that you had bad experiences. I'm a cancer and looking at my past and present, I can relate to some of this on some level, mostly in my past. I have not dealt with that many cancers, so i can't say from that many experiences other than my own. I've had a lot of bad experiences with other signs. I truly believe it depends on the person, and nowadays, there's a lot of narcissistic people, which sounds like what you're describing. I've grown up with many, none of which are cancers. There is so little insight and self awareness in people as a whole. Although I have been told by many professionals that I am very self-aware among other good things, I can't say what I would have been like if I didn't grow up the way I did. I had a rough childhood and adulthood so far with a lot of trauma. That shapes people too. Would never recommend that someone go through what I have, but I do believe it can shape people for the better and the worse, and it's up to the person to decide what to do with it. Like has been said, we all have issues. No matter what the sign, people need to be better humans and be more self-aware. We all can afford to keep learning, learning about ourselves, and keeping an open mind, and finding a positive way to love life. Best wishes!

I am sorry your experience with cancer has been so toxic and I promise some of us do recognize and actively choose to walk the higher path.
I am only half way through this video, and am able to pin point that aspect of shadow work I am in currently. It takes a lot for us Cancers to see how much lacking self identity is toxic. There are so many terms like "meet their energy" going around that plays right into our hand to justify this choice. The fact that an "empath" life is trending to me is crazy. I don't need to learn to eet someone's energy, I am trying to find my own. Finding my own identity while being married and having young kids as a Cancarian is like driving around in the Mystery Machine with Scooby and Shaggy but no Velma. This is helping me in the long process of processing my last relationship. He was a Cancer, but had absolutely shut off his emotions after trauma when he was younger. He hated his mom; I helped encourage them to repair their relationship as she was dealing with breast cancer and family was important to me. Religious family. I helped him cut back on alcohol, I helped him quit smoking, I helped him see his value so he could get a higher paying job. He was manipulative, his brother even confirmed that for me. He was very limiting toward me in my life, wasn't encouraging or supportive. I had a cancer scare last year and had to have a lesion removed... he just waited in the car, I had to walk down the stairs on my own after the procedure, which was sooo painful. I'm not sure he was homosexual, but he had been abused as a teen by a man. And I just sort of suspected he dealt with having those kinds of thoughts, like questioning himself if he was. He hated being touched in certain ways. Toward the end of the relationship, it was really clear he didn't like women, didn't care that I had an emotional reaction to certain things, or that I needed support in that way. The "disagreements..." I eventually stopped bringing things up to him because he'd always flip it back at me, but I would just have to sit there for 3+ hours while he'd scold me and list out everything wrong with me that he didn't like that I did... he would bring up that he thought he was a sociopath, on more than one occasion, and talked about he was told by a therapist he saw once with she suspected he had multiple personalities, and I could see what he was talking about, but me, a stupid pisces, still loved him. He just wouldn't say he loved me. The first time he did, it felt like he was trying to get something from me, and then he'd take it away when I didn't act right or wasn't enough for him. He got me to move in with him and bought me a ring, but when I'd ask about when he'd be ready to propose or say I love you again, he'd say everytime I asked that it started the countdown over. It was so awkward because he told my mom he was going to propose and after the date came and went, she called me to congratulate me. But he never proposed. He didn't think giving compliments on things like my cooking or cleaning the apartment were necessary unless he saw it as consistent over time. So like, if a meal was good, he didn't say so, because it wasn't good for an extended period of time. He was fine eating the same ham and cheese sandwich with nothing on it everyday, but he made fun of me for not cooking real food on days when I made easy meals like mac and cheese and hot dogs on days when I was depressed and still had to feed him and my son. Other days, I made lengthy meals that took a lot of prep work and to me, were really do, but I had to ask him how it turned out.
Lol, the conspiracy theories and prepping. That made me laugh, really. Ohhh my gosh, thank you for validating that. I became so afraid of the world in that relationship.
He was all about giving when he approved of me, and taking away when he didn't approve.
He took in two cats and I felt like he did it to brag about taking in cats someone didn't want anymore, but when one got sick and so clearly needed to go to the vet, I had to convince him to take her in to be seen, he was just okay with her possibly dying alone in his apartment while he was at work. I miss them and hope they're okay.
He'd tell me how he made it his mission to take certain people out at work who had annoyed or wronged him or thought he was better than.
He had the most dead eyes and said one of his exes pointed it out to him. I told I didn't know what she was talking about. But his eyes... like, they were hazel but they'd go completely dark, not glossy. Like shark eyes.
Toward the end, I was scared for my safety. He kept a lot of guns in the house and was stocking up on ammo and guns whenever he got paid. I hated that he had a few right under the bed where I slept.
Were there good qualities? Yeah. Sure. I'd seen the guy cry before, a few times, and that always told me he wasn't as cold as he made himself out to be. I'd seen him happy, and smiling, and we used to have fun together. Sometimes. Sex was rough. I ended up dialing back sex after the cancer scare I had because that did some damage to my trust for him to be there for me. I suspect, a little bit, that he was cheating, or wanted to. Anytime we took breaks, he went and hooked up with other girls. I didn't have a reason to hook up with people, I was just focusing on my mental wellness during those times.
At the very end, I had lost everything I identified myself with because it didn't fit into me trying to make him happy. The pressure I was under to be a certain way had me considering checking myself into a mental health facility.
It's been almost a year since the breakup. I've moved away from the city we lived in. I finally feel comfortable leaving the house and not feeling like something bad is going to happen to me. I've spent a lot of time processing how I contributed to that relationship, how I should've left instead of accepting emotional abuse, etc. I've attempted to start dating again in the last few months, just to see how I am with assessing myself with other people, if I can identify red flags, if I can prioritize myself instead of the other person, what it looks like when someone cares about me, etc. I'm back on a break from that, I just have more to work on.
As for him... I hope he's doing well, I hope I never hear from him again. He's blocked on everything, but he could still contact me if he really wanted to.
I recently met another Cancer, and, I'm watching these to learn about my ex and understand a bit better, but also to make sure I'm able to spot any red flags this new guy might have. He's already shown a couple. I'm not wanting to date but I'd like to have him as a friend, so I'm really also trying to see if he's leaning more dark or light, before getting emotionally attached.
Idk if anyone's gonna read this but I do tend to forgot how bad that last relationship was and what I let it do to me. It was therapeutic to listen to this video and also write about a few little things. There was so much more, it was a 3 and a half year relationship. I think he was holding back on hitting me, or just had thoughts of it, but inflicting mental harm was more his jam.

I wanted to die many times earlier this year, but I made a pact with myself a long time ago that I'd never choose that route for my son, so he keeps me tethered here. Your videos on Pisces have been so helpful to me in getting to know myself again. I'm making my way to Scorpio next; I've had probably the most special and deep connections with Scorpios in my life and I can hear that familiarity come through when you speak in your videos. Best friend of almost 25 years is a Scorpio and she had my back and really helped me find reality last year and this year while working on healing. Yes I totally agree and the point of this video is to just try to look at the pure cancer aspect, not take into account anything else especcially in their chart, as there as soo so many factors that can be varients - such as their moon, rising/asendant, yes many situations require deep observation rather then jumping staright in my point is that its a self preservation approach to this sign likes to hang and stay right back and not being direct, like saying what they mean and what they want to your face and or having a plan and just going for it, no fear, no treperdation to life and situations, cancer is hesitant to rise up. step up and not gong throuht things and choosing to go around things is avoidance, life forces our hand regardless and the problem of situation only comes back worse or in a different form is avoided or not delt with.

I always tried to be a generous personbut i will admit i have cracked and slipped many times. Thanks to friends and family i have made checks and balances for myself and even then i almost fell off the deep end when my exes have broken up with me. But i just had to remember that i can choose to fall into my darker self or i can choose to be the better person and just let go. Which is what it is, a choice, so far i have made the right choice but i am always aware that i am not that far off from falling
