- Dimash Kudaibergen was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on May 24, 1994. It is now 191 cm tall.
- Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. Since September 1, 2020, Dimash is studying at the Kazakh National University of Arts in doctoral studies (PHD) with a degree in Musicology.

- Dimash is Kazakh by nationality, speaks and thinks in Kazakh. He speaks Russian fluent language. He is currently studying English.

The other thing that makes him so great is honestly- nearly every singer you can think of, once they come on the scene & you get a sense of their range & style, quality of vocals- that never changes- until they get older & it declines. They may find a song that resonates more or less, but their abilities & ability to move you like it’s the 1st time you’re hearing something wanes. It is replaced with familiarity, & if they are great, a consistency in their greatness. Dimash came on the scene blowing your mind, & he is STILL surprising even his fans who have seen everything he’s ever done. He is constantly evolving & challenging himself- but not in a way that seems the artist doesn’t know themselves. In every way he’s one of a kind. He gives you that 1st time feeling nearly every time, coupled with a consistency & familiarity at the same time. His potential is pretty limitless.

I'm no expert - just a fan - but thru college & many years after graduating I worked security at concerts & b/c I wasn't an azz hat & had a chill personality & respect for customers I was always invited to do tours - my point in is I have seen so many acts live for so many years I cant even count them so I'm pretty numb to it..... but the 1st time I heard Dimash - SOS 2017 I broke down crying within seconds - he's the best I ever heard & it's Not close

When you get up there with the best of the best, I think there’s no need to compare. Dimash is in a universe all his own. Yes, technically note for note- if they were tasked with singing side by side, Dimash would out-sing Freddie in range & dynamics, how many ways & with such power & clarity he can hit notes, the vocal control.. etc. BUT we all know that is only part of it. Truth is- Freddie can do things Dimash cannot, & vice versa - because they both possess unique spirits and are both their own magical unicorns. And Freddie was self taught. I also wonder- had Freddie had the upbringing & support that Dimash had.. (& lifestyle- without the drugs, smoking, partying etc that does take a toll on the voice)- he very well may have even technically matched. However, with a different upbringing that might have altered some of the fire, grit, & explosive counter culture magnificence he brought to the world of music. Thank goodness there’s no need to choose. They’re both gifts to the world.

I always kind of choke on comments like “best in the world.” Especially when it’s presented as an absolute fact. Maybe I just take things too literally. I haven’t heard every singer in the world. He’s the best I’ve heard, but that’s not proof he’s the best on the planet. All I can say is he’s amazing, and that is one hell of a great voice, backed up with, obviously, many, many years of very hard work on his part.

Freddy did have the best voice of queen members. But, many times live and in bohemian Roger had the highest voice. Roger was in the background playing drums but he was backing Freddy for many of the high notes. On bohemian he sang the “Galileo” word. In the documentaries it showed Freddy yelling at Roger “higher higher”. There was also another part in that section the opera part where the parts were layered about16 voices but when those parts ended right before going to the rock section Rogers voice finished each time with a high soprano note that you wouldn’t notice unless you listened to it over and over again. It wasbnt Freddy. It was Freddy’s idea, but Freddy was making roger do it. Of course they were a team. John could sing but didn’t like to. He even now was the reluctant singer.The only 2 voices that Dimash can be compare to for originality is Freddy and Michael. But as a teenager he had already past them in range. Freddy had so many layers and technical things he could do that made queen great.Michael had original noises to his voice after “The Wall”. But dimash is not one deminional. Dimash can take any note in any register and sing it with at least10 different techniques. Dimash sings notes that are between half steps and whole steps that are probably not written on sheet music. It’s in eastern music, maybe they write it.

Yes - I wince whenever he flings himself on his knees too - which he does a lot! ( Speaking as someone who's worked with orthopaedic rehabilitation teams.. think is great dramatic effect - but a potential recipe for early knee replacement surgery in future! Read somewhere that he was limping after this performance... ) Meanwhile - this one was back in 2017 on the Chinese 'Singer' competition. Gotta remember that his English was very minimal back then & he learned all his English lyrics phonetically - a pretty phenomenal job I think! When you catch up with his more recent work think you wont have much problem deciding on his worlds best status. { Correct me if wrong!} :)

I love Freddie and Queen, grew up with them. Dimash is not to compare to Freddie, he can literally do everything, but is not to reduce on one to three styles. Of course Dimash isn't a rock musician, but great that you like his version. I hope for more of Dimash! Btw the 'a' in his name is pronounced as in 'cup' or 'run'. ;-)
