Nice views and landing. I can tell you the view over London is better on the other side of the aircraft, landing on 27R, even more if arriving just after sun up. To see all that golden glow reflecting off the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament/Big Ben. Pure Magic. Trouble is, it all as to happen. Arrival Time, Landing 27R - otherwise it just don't happen! Been there many times and seen it once.
Yes, I noticed beautiful Concorde too. I flew in her New York to London 1981. Wonderful beautiful creature. Very enjoyable video, loved seeing my favourite city from above, thank you. What a soft touch down.
I love the often easily missed ( not least by me ). The first time I noticed it was on my way toward landing at JFK from Heathrow : That the closer you get to the ground the more you realise just how fast you`re still travelling, the plane having very significantly dropped in both height and speed.
I saw Greenwich Park and Canary wharf, the next thing I saw was the Boat Race course, where was Tower Bridge , London Eye, Parliament and don’t say it wasn’t Greenwich Park as I recognized the oxbow in the Thames.
