Coating hinge fasteners for conveyor belts with Multiface 1 5

This video shows the coating of a conveyor belt fastener with hinge pin with the patented vulcanizing material Multiface® in order to seal it and to reach the best compatibility with belt scrapers and cleaners.
Multiface® generally achieves a very good adhesion to rubber, without any preparation with any solvents and adhesion promoters, due to the same chemical cross-linking as in hot vulcanization. Therefore, the job can be carried out in all weather conditions, in direct sunlight or below the dew point, or drizzle or rain or snowfall. It can be done immediately after the fastener is installed or later during a short planned outage. The belt is ready for use after less than 60 minutes at +23°C / 73°F, or less, even at temperatures below 0°C / 32°F, by using a heat gun. Look closely at the details that show the best application practice determined after many dynamic tests and practical applications.
