1. G2 - most consistent team, won last major 2. Falcons - could put number 1 but they can’t win when it matters most 3. Gen.G - They have the talent to make a deep run, just need to play well on the day. 8. Furia - Made a top 4, similar to Gen.G i just think Gen.G can peak higher 9. The way Evoh swept Jack in 3 games looked eerily similar to that Falcons vs GenG match, we all know the one. Jack should have private matches with Evoh, 1 or 2 hours a day, pay him for them, and get really accustomed to that chaotic speed. Typically, Jack plays 1v1 analytically and with the intention to learn and win the next game against the same person, which he oftentimes does, but then in a 3v3 tournament suddenly everything is 300% faster and there is no second chance. Chronic appears to play the speed and style of his teammates. If Jack and FirstKiller fly out of the gates, then Chronic adjusts right to that. Gentlemates will win in my opinion u guys forgot they are major winner and they could of won back to back but they trolled their against falcon 4 3 which could of gone either way they are playing litrally in this playstyle that is perfect
G2: Winner of Major 2, Top 2 in Major 1, Top 4 in EWC Falcons: Top 2 in Major 2 and EWC, Top 8 in Major 1 GM8's: Winner Major 1, Top 4 in Major 2, Top 12 in EWC BDS: Winner of EWC, Top 8 in Major 1 and 2 Vitality: Top 4 in Major 1, Top 8 in Major 2 and EWC KC: Top 4 in Major 1, Non-existent in Major 2 and EWC Now sit down, shut up, and enjoy your sippy cup while you learn a thing or two.
I think this video underestimates KC. Prior to the first major they seemed really dominant, they just missed a whole event because of a bad day and then missed the second major and I haven't seen them in any off season tournaments so it's hard to judge where they're at. But at the beginning of the season they were favorites into pretty much every matchup and I don't think they've gotten worse. I do feel like anyone could beat anyone in the A and S tiers though depending on the matchup and the day. Like Falcons have a really aggressive style that might be open to counter attack goals but it's also super fast. M8 Alpine look more solid and are just super consistent, I'd say G2 are similar but they rely more on solo plays for goals in some series. BDS does a lot of short passes and low boost plays but they find each other really well and they have good pressure and possession from that. Low key Zen is every bit as good as he was when he won worlds I think it's just a matter of if Alpha54 and Radosin are having good days, they also seem less confident as a team and seem to play more passive. Furia are agressive mechy madlads but they seem a little bit weaker than the other teams in the top 8. GenG could absolutely beat anyone they just gotta get a good showing in group stage so they don't face the final boss right away. I feel like if they pop off early on in the tournament they could get into a groove and potentially beat anyone. It does seem like GenG has an easier time against the more solid teams like Vitality, G2, Gentlemates than they do against more pressure heavy teams like Falcons and BDS. I think it's because they get a lot of counter goals by sending the 3rd man upfield to score off a clear but sometimes if they get outplayed on defense it just puts them in a bad spot and they get boost starved. Also this team seems so mechanical and good at outplaying it feels like they have 1 man back, 1 man bumping, and 1 man trying to get past the whole enemy team, instead of finding ways to create passing plays that make the opponents have to reorient their defense like they did last season with Noly. I don't think it's a worse playstyle at all, they seem better now than ever, but every single player in these top 8 teams is so mechy and challenges so well that it seems like whoever is feeling themselves that day just ends up taking the series. Idk I'm only diamond idk how to really see what's going on strategically at top level rocket league but I think these tier lists are interesting because they try to rate a team in general, whereas lots of teams are good against some playstyles and worse against others so how the bracket looks makes every bit of difference for which one is gonna come out on top on the day. Should be a really entertaining worlds though! Last year it seemed obvious that Vitality was gonna win but this year it really feels like anyone's game. I would love to see GenG or Falcons come out on top, the French teams have been wrecking everyone for too long!
@@somerandomchad469 I mean the same thing happened to Shopify Rebellion. There's no doubt that they're a top 8 NA team but they just had a bad day and lost open quals. It's the nature of this format that they expect teams to be super consistent but any team could have 1 bad day and their whole season is ruined. The fact that KC is at worlds at all shows how dominant they were before that happened.
@@Charlemagne57 you're talking like kc would have qualified for the major if they did decently. Like, the best result they got in the second split was literally a top 4 in the last regional. And comparing them to SR is not very smart. KC were literally considered the best team itw (even after losing in Major 1) and they just butchered it, SR is a team notorious for having very high highs (top 2 finish last regional) and very low lows (not qualifying in another regional.
PWR and secret are definitely above OG, that’s a crazy placement for those teams. Put PWR and secret in C and OG in D Besides that I’d switch furia and Gen G and I would put pioneers top of D, they are definitely better than APAC. Also taking out anything for oxygen, I’d put oxygen above SSG in B but just slightly
Chronic is prob the only one i have seen who actually thinks ssg is how good they actually are, their last 4 series against g2 they have a higher game win record, at majors they only lost to teams that either won the major, or made the final while they beat big teams like furia. The most underrated team ever
G2: Winner of Major 2, Top 2 in Major 1, Top 4 in EWC Falcons: Top 2 in Major 2 and EWC, Top 8 in Major 1 GM8's: Winner Major 1, Top 4 in Major 2, Top 12 in EWC BDS: Winner of EWC, Top 8 in Major 1 and 2 Vitality: Top 4 in Major 1, Top 8 in Major 2 and EWC KC: Top 4 in Major 1, Non-existent in Major 2 and EWC This clear things up for ya?
Putting yourself in front of furia is blasphemy. Furia resume: GenG, Vit(2 times), GM8s GenG resume: Vit(EWC) It's good that you're confident in yourself but as it stands you're way behind furia.
It depends, but I think furia lately has been quite inconsistent, so it would not be surprising if they fail to make top 8 this time, remembering how they went round 5 in major 2 with a loss to space station, and now there are 9 solid teams competing for top 8
@@TFKiller1 it really doesn't. GenG has been inconsistemt way more and yet you're willing to overlook that for them. Furia is better and there is no argument against it except the weird copium that people have for GenG.
@@kilisinovic Meh, they've both been equally inconsistent. I don't think anything is wrong with putting GenG right in front of or right behind Furia. But if you're gonna use matches from major 1, then don't forget to include G2 on GenG's resume a few times as well. Both teams can knock off top teams when they're hot but neither have shown that consistency to always be hanging in those top top spots like G2, M8s, and Falcons. Edit: Now that I look back on it, both of their playoff results between Major 1,2 , and the EWC were VERY similar. Major 1: Furia got beat by Vitality and GenG got beat by GM8s round 1. Major 2: Furia gets a solid win over Vitality while GenG loses to Falcons. Then EWC: Furia loses to Falcons while GenG beats Vitality handily. The more I look at it, the easier it is to see that both of those teams' overall ranking is interchangeable.
Actually trash takes yall have karmine rated way to high considering previous results. And to even put og and sg in the same bracket looks ignorant. I would put yall and space station in high A and furia and karmine in b. g2 and falcons are the only S tier teams as of this minute. I love geng but all 3 of yall never preform right together it’s like only one of yall can preform each series. Call it a hot take but that’s why yall have come short the whole season.
Meh. One top 4 and two top 8 finishes at the big events so far this year keep them out of S-tier. Just because they were insane last year doesn't make them the same this year. We watched NRG go from being one of the best to one of the worst over just a few years.

I would love to see GenG or Falcons come out on top, the French teams have been wrecking everyone for too long!
we not reading allat
stopped reading when u said that kc didnt qualify cause they had a bad day.
@@somerandomchad469 they made top 4 at worlds, seems like they were a better team than they got credit for
🤣🤣🤣🤣
💀Yall are not above Kc let alone furia but your self back Low A NOW!!!
Results say otherwise
PWR and secret are definitely above OG, that’s a crazy placement for those teams. Put PWR and secret in C and OG in D
Besides that I’d switch furia and Gen G and I would put pioneers top of D, they are definitely better than APAC. Also taking out anything for oxygen, I’d put oxygen above SSG in B but just slightly
🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Chronic is prob the only one i have seen who actually thinks ssg is how good they actually are, their last 4 series against g2 they have a higher game win record, at majors they only lost to teams that either won the major, or made the final while they beat big teams like furia. The most underrated team ever
The gm8 placement alone tells me these guys have no idea pf eu teams
Pretty sure they made this before ewc
G2: Winner of Major 2, Top 2 in Major 1, Top 4 in EWC
Falcons: Top 2 in Major 2 and EWC, Top 8 in Major 1
GM8's: Winner Major 1, Top 4 in Major 2, Top 12 in EWC
BDS: Winner of EWC, Top 8 in Major 1 and 2
Vitality: Top 4 in Major 1, Top 8 in Major 2 and EWC
KC: Top 4 in Major 1, Non-existent in Major 2 and EWC
This clear things up for ya?
Putting yourself in front of furia is blasphemy.
Furia resume: GenG, Vit(2 times), GM8s
GenG resume: Vit(EWC)
It's good that you're confident in yourself but as it stands you're way behind furia.
Nah GenG beats furia
@@BONNIE12YT yeah, as we saw in major 1.
I agree with Chronic SSG>Furia
Actually trash takes yall have karmine rated way to high considering previous results. And to even put og and sg in the same bracket looks ignorant. I would put yall and space station in high A and furia and karmine in b. g2 and falcons are the only S tier teams as of this minute. I love geng but all 3 of yall never preform right together it’s like only one of yall can preform each series. Call it a hot take but that’s why yall have come short the whole season.
how u guys saying vitality arent S?!?!?!!?!? yeah they had some chokers but bruh their chemistry is the best
Meh. One top 4 and two top 8 finishes at the big events so far this year keep them out of S-tier. Just because they were insane last year doesn't make them the same this year. We watched NRG go from being one of the best to one of the worst over just a few years.
