Once you get into its orbit it is not possible to break away, it holds you, you want more and more and more!! Today, he defended his dissertation on the specialty "Composition". Dimash's master's thesis was dedicated to representatives of traditional musical art.
Most of English speaking people keep commenting about his English but this performance showed his own interpretation and vocal range and diversity of his genres. I admire his courage. Right now he is learning English, Mandarin and will complete his Master degree in music composition this year and will proceed to do his doctorate degree. With all his concerts, presentations, singing either at the opening or closing ceremonies, I cannot fathom his discipline and energy. You probably realize that he was homesick and not be able to communicate that much since he didn’t speak English nor Mandarin and being the youngest ever to be invited to compete against all well known professional singers with decades of stage performance. He was only 22 years of age and non professional. He was invited by one of the committees after his winning at Slavic Bazaar. Sorry for long comment . He won the first round with “ SOS-“ and behind the screen, other contestants were quite upset but Chinese audiences love him . Now they are friends with exception of HK lady who won but ironically Dimash won the hearts of Chinese people because in 2017 he won the best singer in All major cities in China , including Beijing when he won three prizes, best singer , best foreign singer and best new musical sound.
Sabina! Black Texas female who didn't have black radio stations in the 60's/70''s so was big fan of QUEEN through white radio stations. Dimash bought it back for me!!!!!!!! But I found Wolf Man Jack out of Mexico to know Black music history. Throughout my journey I've found ALL music, makes me cry with sadness AND JOY!!!!!!!!!!!

Dimash once said that he hopes that everyone who hears him sing will be drawn into another world and be happier than before they listened to him ... and that's exactly what happens for you dear Sabina, as you say, and to all of us Dears! And yes he is a total badass! He commits a hundred percent to EVERY performance (I just watched him sing to a small room of people in a nursing home and he performed with as much heart and sincerity as if he was on stage at one of his big concerts). I love his english and his accent. As an english speaker it's of no consequence to me at all if his english is not perfect ... to be honest most people's isn't! I love Dimash singing in any language even when I do not understand but I particularly love his English accent. I find it so cute & endearing. A lot of us Dears call it Dinglish. Dimash is in a league all his own when it comes to singing and performing, isn't he?! As a fan, I never get tired of re-watching him and especially watching first reactions. But the first time I saw him bounce down on his knees like that...I had the same reaction you did! I hoped he was wearing knee pads because much of that could seriously damage his knees. I don't think he was at first but read in somewhere that someone had given him kneepads and advised him to wear them and that he does now. Thank God! :-)

Other people, on the contrary, consider it included better than the original sung by the unforgettable Freddie. Personally I think this Dimash cover is of the highest level, beautiful, somehow unique. I love this cover, very much, and I love Dimash without limits, at all levels. However I consider that Freddie, at least in this song, is unsurpassed. Not quite the same for me, I quit trying to sing when my voice started to change, so that is not my reaction. My gut tightens up though and I try to match my breathing to whoever I see or hear belting. I watched a certain cover song that Katrina Velarde did and almost passed out without realizing why... lol

I loved this performance and I think he did so well with his English. Critics don't realize how much preparation goes into a week while getting ready for their next songs and I think DImash had more to do than most. He kills it every time. Thanks for your reaction Sabina. 💕

Dimash is in a league all his own when it comes to singing and performing, isn't he?! As a fan, I never get tired of re-watching him and especially watching first reactions. But the first time I saw him bounce down on his knees like that...I had the same reaction you did! I hoped he was wearing knee pads because much of that could seriously damage his knees. I don't think he was at first but read in somewhere that someone had given him kneepads and advised him to wear them and that he does now. Thank God! :-)

I noticed that some people generally criticize this cover made by Dimash of this authentic Queen's masterpiece, even considering it as an outrage to the original song.
Other people, on the contrary, consider it included better than the original sung by the unforgettable Freddie.
Personally I think this Dimash cover is of the highest level, beautiful, somehow unique. I love this cover, very much, and I love Dimash without limits, at all levels.
However I consider that Freddie, at least in this song, is unsurpassed.
This allows me to enjoy both the interpretation of dear Dimash, and the inimitable and irreplaceable expression of Freddie through this masterpiece.

Not quite the same for me, I quit trying to sing when my voice started to change, so that is not my reaction. My gut tightens up though and I try to match my breathing to whoever I see or hear belting. I watched a certain cover song that Katrina Velarde did and almost passed out without realizing why... lol
