- In this video I walk you guys through all my experiences with the Hammerhead Bull Shark 13' pedal powered fishing kayak and everything I've learned fishing it hard the past year. I've spent a ton of time in this yak, so I feel qualified to talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly. In this video I review everything I've learned in the ultimate durability and use test: 100+ hours on the water. I purchased this yak earlier this year for only $800, but new they only run $1599, so it's one of the cheapest pedal kayaks designed for fishing on the market. But is it any good? Check out the video to see!

Thanks for the info!
Super helpful! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
great video, that price point is insane. looks like a great yak!
I really think it is the best on the market in the price range. It's worked great for me!
I mentioned Eddie's customer service in my review of the Bull Shark, too...He's definitely top notch! A year or so in, I still love my Bull Shark, and I'm picking up a Whale Shark next week. I have both drives for the Bull Shark, and I'm getting all three for the Whale Shark. Agree on the midship hatch...I wish it was more usable than it is, and like you, that's pretty much my only big complaint about it. Super Stable, easy upkeep, fairly well thought out for features, and won't break the bank. Stay Safe!
Have either of you tried the baby whale? If so which you feel is better for standing
@@heathwatford1737 I haven't tried the Baby Whale, but I have put my eyes on it a couple times. For a budget 11' class kayak to boast a weight capacity of 460 lbs, I can tell you straight offhand it's stable! Check out a channel called Southern Salt...Nathan does a walk-thru, demo, and stability test on the Baby Whale...he's over 6' tall and 275 lbs, and stands up with no problems at all in it. Hope this helps...Stay Safe!
They made updates since, along with cranking up the price.
True. Price of everything has gone up though
I have a whale shark and love it
They look great. Haven't fished in one yet though!
Wait, it was your primary yak for the last 6 months, but you have put a lot of time into it over the past year?
Yes, the past 6 months are part of the past year lol
Is it a stable standing platform
Very stable. I've done a lot sight fishing out of it
