I taught in a Catholic school for 30 years. Every week I would read one or two stories about the life of a particular saint. I remember one class was extremely excited when I read them the story of St. Tarcisius. That particular lesson lasted over an hour. We teachers and parents can help our children learn about what a true hero is. We should be reading to our children about the lives of the saints more.

I remember reading about St Tarcisius in early elementary school, about 70 years ago! I have never forgotten his story. Thank you for sharing this.
My nephew selected this saint for his confirmation several years ago.
A few years ago, I picked this saint for my 2nd grade RE class to report on for All Saints Day. They were very receptive and excited to learn about him.

St Tarcisius was the first saint i was drawn to if i remember correctly. I was maybe 9 or 10 yrs old, being a bookwork you'll always see me in our library and the minute i read his story, it was a thin big picture book as what you'll see in children's books i will never forget his picture lying dead after he was stoned and when his pursuers opened his arms covering the Eucharist, it jusy showed halo and light on his chest. I can still picture it after all these years. His love for the Eucharist. St Tarcisius pray for us

When I was a kid , I belong to a group of kids in our church and we are called “Tarcicians” not even knowing what it means. Now as an adult and a legionary I wish I can form a group of Kids to follow this Saint St. Tarcicius . Am so impressed about his story and had deepened my faith on the host and it’s spiritual importance being the real Body and Blood of Christ.St. Tarcicius, pray for us.

And also, Thank You for becoming a Marian priest. We need all the good and holy priests to serve us faithfully. We pray for priests and our parish prays every Sunday for good men to be called to the priesthood. I sure do wish there was a Marian House down here in the south. You never know what God has in mind for the Marians to spread throughout the world and in each of these United States. May God Bless you and all the Marian Fathers and those in formation. He is one of a number of child martyrs of the time. Two others include Agnes [AD304] and Pancras [also AD304] both under Diocletian.
The Holy Eucharist is the Greatest Miracle of God, through Our Lord Jesus Christ present in that White Host. The purity of God's love to Mankind!

When I was a child I was so inspired by this saint and never forgot him. When my daughter was making her first communion, about 1980, I couldn’t find any book about him? And now he’s back? I’m so confused. But I’m grateful we are hearing about him again.
