While I get the appeal of giant pterosaurs like Hatzegopteryx, I'd actually like to see some smaller aviary species get added. It always bugged me that the only non pterodactyloid we ever got was Dimorphodon. Something like Rhamphorynchus or Sordes seems like a really obvious inclusion, and more small pterosaurs would mean much more mileage from the insectivore feeders. If they can figure out walking animations for flying animals, maybe something like Archaeopteryx or Microraptor could be a solid aviary choice, too
Hey Tri-Claw, here are my 10 picks I want in the base game Land: - Altispinax (Becklspinax) - Camptosaurus - Centrosaurus - Daspletosaurus - Orntihomimus - Plateosaurus - Smilodon Flying: - Archaeopteryx - Hatzegopteryx Marine: - Ophthalmosaurus
I would also include the recently discovered Perucetus, because is would like to see more cetaceans like basilosaurus and it would be cool for it to have the crustacean feeder you mentioned int the lagoon video, which is where it would use its theorized suction feeding.
IMO, JWE3 would be perfect for an introduction to Cenozoic animals. It could be a selling point with popular animals. And also because Smilodon is the only canon animal left (unless you include the corpses in FK). Hopefully, they would include some lesser known ones like Paraceratherium, Daeodon, Barinasuchus, etc.
@@tri-clawgaming7682 Well, in my opinion only Cenozoic species that look more prehistoric, in terms of size & appearance should be given a chance to be in JWE3 & the Jurassic franchise. Like the sabertooth cats, ground sloths & mammoths.
Frontier should do a walking with dinosaurs skin pack just putting the patterns of walking with dinosaurs creatures and putting them on the frontier models
These are good choices. I would enjoy having Plateosaurus and Inostrancevia in the game. For me, my ideal list would be. Plateosaurus : Same reasons as the video. Honestly I'm surprised that we didn't get Plateosaurus or any early sauropodomorph for that matter. Gargantuavis : If we're not getting Cenozoic fauna, even though it wouldn't make any sense since we have the Megalodon. Back on topic, if we can't get a terror bird, how about the ostrich-like Gargantuavis from the Hateg Islands. Inostrancevia : Again, same reasons as described in the video. Plus if we can't get Cenozoics, then we have a potential candidate for modding in animals like Smilodon, Thylacoleo or perhaps even Aenocyon (Dire wolf). Placerias/Lisowicia : Either one of these tusked therapsids would be great. One is a veteran from Walking with Dinosaurs, the other is the biggest dicynodont discovered thus far. Pelecanimimus : An ornithomimid that has a piscivorous diet. It could have feathers, making it the second ornithomimid with feathers, joining Deinocheirus. Oxalaia : I know it's probably not valid, but since we already have Troodon, Dracorex and the still questioned Stygimoloch, Oxalaia would fit in. It could have the weird features that define the modern day interpretations of Spinosaurus. Scelidosaurus : A primitive thyreophoran from the Jurassic. Maybe it could switch from a bipedal to quadrupedal stance like the hadrosaurs. Diabloceratops/Einiosaurus : One ceratopsian has long horns resembling devil horns. The other one has a curved nasal horn. Either one has potential for interesting skin combinations, especially with the frill. Pterygotus : Eurypterids would be nice to see in JWE3. It could be the first arthropod in the JWE series. Atopodentatus : Has potential to introduce filter feeding animals as well as having the ability to climb on land and go in the water. Rhamphorhynchus : It surprises me that we never got Rhamphorhynchus in JWE2. If we're really getting JWE3, my hopes is that we get this pterosaur. It would add another long tailed pterosaur to the game and one with a pointed snout rather than the blunt looking one of Dimorphodon. Pterodaustro : I'd love to have this funny looking pterosaur in the game. Like Atopodentatus, Pterodaustro has potential to be a filter feeder. Maybe they could introduce a crustacean feeder for animals like Pterodaustro.
@kairyu9207 About Gargantuavis; there is a study on a new fossil of it that might indicate it wasn’t an Ostrich-like bird; but a relative of the Theropods Elopteryx & Balaur , all 3 found in the same area. Which means they might all make up a new family of Theropods! So basically instead of looking like an Ostrich, it would look like an Herbivorous/Omnivorous Dromaeosaur.
Good choices, but here’s my own choices of animals I’d like to see in JWE3 with some of yours, that I too would like to see in the game. I would like… *Doedicurus* *Estemmenosuchus* *Megacerops* *Microraptor* *Protoceratops* *Phorusrhacos* *Rhomaleosaurus* *Smilodon (aka Sabertooth Cat)* *Teratophoneus* *Woolly Mammoth*
I cannot expess how much I disagree with you we already have 7 tyrannosaurus and you are trying to tell me that we need another one or that a whale would fit in nicely among reptiles and enormus deadly fish what lagoons need are small creatures like ammonites or agile short neck plesiosaurs and if we have to go big and unique for lagoons i would suggest Aristonectes wich would be an enormus filter feeding plesiosaur
Your comment on the Daspletosaurus is what it is. As for your comment on Basilosaurus, i totally dont get your issue. Firstly when it comes to aquatic creatures, we already have animals from before the time of the dinosaurs, and we have megalodon too so...whats wrong with basilosaurus exactly? Secondly in regards to your comment about ammonites...lol. Ok...you stick a small ammonite inside those huge lagoons. Small animals are entirly pointless unless changes are made to how those animals are exhibited. As for your Aristonectes; if you claim that daspleto is a bad idea as a nother tyrannosaur then i would argue the species list has far too many plesiosaurs and pliosaurs and that we dont need anymore with minor differences.
I see you uno carded me effectively but ammonites aren't "small" as you claim the biggest ones were 3.5m in diamiter wich is bigger than Ichtosaurus and Plesiosaurus that are already in game. I included Aristonectes bc it would be like Microceratus is to ceratopsians or how Plateosaurus would be to sauropods. And my only problem with basilosaurus is that it would be odd to have only 1 mammal and that it's honestly nothing special in case of diet, body build or any unique feautures just a cursed dolphin
The ammonite you refer to is based on an incomplete fossil with an 'estimated' size anywhere between 2.5 and 3.5 metres. Yes that would make it larger than the icthyosaurus, however again, I would argue that we would still need a better way of housing a smaller lagoon animal, when you take into account the enormous size of a single lagoon area. I would also argue that Aristo is not really the same as Plateosaurus or microceratus, as its merely another large plesiosaur just with a different feeding method which i doubt Frontier would impliment. I think they are more interesting animals with different body shapes. Just because Basilosaurus is a mammel doesnt make it not a decent addition. We only have two fish so again, i think your mammel arguement doesnt make much sense. Its body shape would be very different to anything we already have in teh lagoons, as would its method of locomotion and being a whale it would also need actually representeted breathing similar to modern whales, which would be atleast one unique animation it would have.
Well the new way of locomotion you poin out in basilosaurus would also apply to ammonites beeing the only invertebrate in the game and single block laggons aren't as expansive as you say they would be perfect for housing smaller animals And I hope that the brething mechanic you mentioned will be a part of the third game same as a way to status check and care for your swimming friends without the enormus hatchery
id personally switch out basilosaurus for hesperornis, as Id love to 1 have more creatures that can use the rocks at least, and 2 Id love to have an actual bird, and a very unique one at that. And its a safer bet given its not Cenozoic. But Tanystropheus is probably my second top choice for marine animals though. In terms of dinosaurs, top of my list is an Alverezsaurid, because I adore them, and in terms of small animals, they're really missed in the current game as well as being a true insectivore. After that Id love a basal sauropodomorph like Plateosaurus (or a basal true sauropod like Vulcanodon, or Shunosaurus), and some kind of bird or Paravian like Microraptor in the aviary. Oh and for all the small theropods we have, we dont have many small herbivores, anything Minmi to Microceratus sized. Id love to have a small ornithopod like Heterodontosaurus, or Thescelosaurus, as well as a smaller quadrupedal ceratopsian like Protoceratops or Leptoceratops.
This should now be correct. Sorry about that folks!
We need Pterodactylus and Pliosaurus
We still need small ornithopods. Besides, we haven't received a single new ornithopod in JWE2 and I am personally tired of getting so many carnivores.
Agreed too many DLCs were carnivore heavy
New species id love too see: Hatzegopteryx, Tethydraco, Corythoraptor, Mapusaurus, Tethyshadros, Zalmoxes, Argentinosaurus and Irritator

Oh i agree with you that more smaller species would be good to have. But only if they changed how we can house smaller animals.

Cool animals
Yeah, can't complain about any of these. Good additions.
Thank you
As long as Leedsichthys is present it’s a 10/10 game
I defo think the next game needs more peaceful animals like that
IMO, JWE3 would be perfect for an introduction to Cenozoic animals. It could be a selling point with popular animals. Im just not very into cenozoic animals. Too many are too like modern day animals.

I think they should add Lilistrenus
Zupaysaurus
And sinosaurus
I would love to see Lilenisternus
@@tri-clawgaming7682 it would be good for my part

Well the issue with that is the design of those animals is under copyright so they cant unless they pay the BBC for it
@@tri-clawgaming7682 yeah but it would be nice
I think a good discussion vid would be ten mechanics that should be added to the game or improved
You should check out my vide on 5 things that jwe3 should do with gameplay video that is linked at the end where i discuss those sorts of thinsg ^^
