I came across this video researching this traverse to try a portion and camp at a few lakes and wow! You crushed it in one day and beat the record. That's incredible. Congrats.
Eight days is a super trip - I've done it in 8 days twice as well. I'd love to do it in 14 some time with plenty of time for side trips. BTW, Nick Elson smoked this FKT a few months ago in 13.5 hours. I think he pretty much holds all the records in the Sea to Sky now. nickelson.ca/trip-reports-2/stein-valley-traverse/
Hi Dan, really nice to meet you and your wife in Stein valley last weekend! Hope you find what you are looking for! 😊 I might have to pick your brain about the traverse when I decide to go for it! Cheers!
Thanks Matt. Yeah for sure. Perhaps you saw my Stein Guide on my website - I'm going to give that a good update one of these days, but feel free to ask away. intocascadia.com/stein-valley-park-guide/
Nothing this fast but I'll be at the Bob Open in May looking to move fast, and I've got a pretty ambitious hike/raft trip planned for July in the Caribou Mtns/Wells Grey area.

Well done! It's really impressive when someone can set a FKT while documenting it for the rest of us to enjoy.
Took me 8 days to do this lol. Your a beast man. Congrats on the record!!
