While Taigun is slightly better here, the reliability, three people seating comfortably at the back, are really practical reasons why Creta is the practical choice!
In Comments people always say VW, ford Endeavour, skoda is better but same people will buy fortuner, creta & Maruti.

No comparison between Taigun n Creta. Driving dynamics, safety, build quality, simplicity in cabin are hall marks of Taigun. Body roll is much higher in creta. Even more than Elevate.

Friends everyone talking about safety. But I think these German companies taking too much price on the name of safety and not providing that comfort compare to same segment cars ( as back seat is not for 3 persons ).
I think we have to optimise our choice as per our need rather than just thinking for only safety OR we have to purchase tank.
I think creta improves its built quality now, also full of latest features and also great after sell service.
If creta improves its safety quality...it will be even more costly...for Rest of world safety is important but for Indians features are important...choose wisely

As someone who owns the Taigun GT Plus…there is just no car in this segment(or even the next) that can compare to the joy of driving with DSG.

If you want value-for-money cars, it's an open-and-shut case - just go with Hyundai and Kia. The German brands (VW, Skoda) besides do a lot of cost-cutting in their cars. The Slavia's interiors - the orange fin in the dashboard is just one of the several examples. Secondly, they also dish out step-motherly treatment to the Indian market. The matrix headlights is present for the global Kodiaq but for the Indian market it is the crystal lighting which is not as useful as the matrix headlights. Kia and Hyundai are far more receptive to the Indian consumer and hence have been leaders in this segment. German brands on the other hand have this high-handed attitude towards the Indian consumer. So that attitude should be dealt with accordingly which the Indian consumer is doing anyway.

Taigun rear seat space is not comfortable for 3 persons. So if my family is congested in the rear seats, what would the driving dynamics do any good to me.
Not better than my previous car creta It was very comfortable and my Taigun was not comfortable , no mileage, no space, Hard suspension, low ground clearance

3. Paint quality par bhi 3 years warranty
4. Rust warranty for body 4 years
5. 4 years warranty plus 2 years extended karwa sakte hai

German automakers are not even trying to compete with Koreans and Indian brands! When even x3o is giving Panoramic sunroof along with diesel engines why not VW or Skoda? Improving small small details is going to make them competitive and people would love to have a German car than a Korean one! The roads of India are popular world over, so why not make suspensions a bit more accommodative? The service charges still remain expensive along with the paucity of parts! Why Germans why!?

Hyundai sales are higher due to diesel engine. But the diesel will get stopped by 2027. So long term has to be a cheaper petrol only. In that case Taigun is better. I wish VW changes the dimensions of Taigun to a wider, longer and taller car with Adas and lower price point. Also the a Hybrid engine option must be there in the offering, otherwise its waste of money in either case. Better buy Toyota Innova Hycross or wait for the VW Tiguan 2025

4 adults- kushaq is btr a choice with rear seats offers btr under thigh support and “captain seats” like feel, also slightly more leg room thn creta.

What will happen when BS7 norms will come into play…In Delhi-NCR region still you cant drive BS4 diesel engine cars(older than 2020) during winters..
Currently no one is warning us, even youtubers kept saying diesel engine offers extra power and mileage…I am also fan of diesel engine and for past 11 years drove diesel cars only… but no point in buying if after 3-4 years you will be forced to buy new one.

We Indians want features over safety. In today's world it is not difficult for Hyundai to manufacture safe cars and not difficult for VW to provide features. At the end of the day it is organization vision mission. For Hyundai it is in line with what Indians want and for VW it is not.
